OFFICE OF THE CHAIRMAN PRINTING, STATIONERY & OFFICE AID COMMITTEE TENDER NOTICE FOR PRINTING & STATIONERY ITEMS FOR THE YEAR 2015-16 Sealed tenders with revenue stamp of Rs 5/- are invited for and on behalf of Vice Chancellor, Islamic University of Science & Technology, Awantipora from the registered / reputed / suppliers / franchises for entering into the Rate Contract for the financial year 2015-16 for the items of the following categories: 1. Printing items 2. Stationery items The details, thereof, can be had from the University websites www.islamicuniversity.edu.in / www.iustlive.com Complete Tender Documents can be collected from the office of the undersigned against a fee of Rs. 500/- to be deposited in the J&K Bank, IUST Campus Awantipora in cash or in the shape of Demand Draft favouring Islamic University of Science & Technology payable at J&K Bank Awantipora. The tender Documents can also be downloaded from the University website, however, at the time of submission of the tender, a fee receipt of Rs 500/- should be enclosed with the tender document. TENDER DOCUMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS: 1. The sealed envelope superscripted as TENDER FOR RATE CONTRACT (Printing / Stationery Items), for IUST, Awantipora, Kashmir should be addressed to Chairman Printing, Stationery & Office Aid Committee, Islamic University of Science and Technology, Awantipora, Kashmir. 2. The last date of receipt of tender is 1 st of May, 2015 at 3:00 Pm. 3. The tender shall be opened on 1 st of May, 2015 at 3:00 Pm. 4. The University reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reasons there for. 5. The Tender should be accompanied with Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of 25000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) each only in the shape of C D R only drawn in favor of Islamic University of Science and Technology, payable at Awantipora. Tender without EMD in the form of CDR will not be entertained. 6. The EMD of the successful tenderers will be retained as Security Deposit during the period of contract. 7. The tenderer should quote the rates both in figures and words which should be covered with the transparent tape without cuttings and over writing and the rate should be inclusive of all taxes. No fluctuation in the rates is permitted during the currency of the tender. 8. The tenderer should enclose the previous financial turnover of the year 2013-14 duly authenticated. 9. Delivery for the items shall be at the University Campus, Awantipora. 10. The rates quoted by the tenderer should be valid for the financial year 2015-16. 11. The tenderer should be registered with sales tax department and will have to submit the VAT clearance certificate for the latest assessing period from the competent authority. 12. I/We are not involved directly or indirectly with any Govt. services. 13. The order shall be placed as per the requirement of the University. 14. In case any defective or damaged or substandard material is supplied by supplier, the same shall not be accepted and same is to be replaced at the cost of the supplier. 15. No Advance will be paid against the order placed by this office. Payment will be made after supply of items duly verified as per the University norms and on receipt of Bills in duplicate. 16. The University reserves the right to reduce or increase the quantity of item at any time. 17. The University reserves the right to forfeit the Security Deposit in the following cases. (i) Poor and unsatisfactory performance / defective or damaged or substandard material is supplied by supplier. (ii) Delay in the supply of the required item/s from the last day of the scheduled delivery. (iii) Backing out from the tender rates. 16. Tenders without the following shall not be entertained: a) EMD of 25000/- (Twenty Five thousands) each in the shape of CDR pledged to Islamic University of Science and Technology, payable at Awantipora. b) Photocopy of PAN card needs to be enclosed. c) Photocopy of the existence certificate. d) Income tax clearance certificate. e) Copy of the Registration of the company. f) VAT clearance certificate for the latest assessing period from the competent authority. g) Demand Draft of ` 500/- (in favor of Islamic University of Science and Technology, payable at Awantipora) in case the tender document is downloaded from the University website.
