In addition we ensure minimal tile waste during production, low water consumption, highly economical use of dyes and chemicals and compliance with Europe s REACH chemical directive. 48,000,000 kg greenhouse gasses saved since 2006. ZERO landfill trash in the United States. The USA is the second country after Sri Lanka that is meeting this global objective for all A&E plants. 100 % of the electrical power consumed at A&E Gütermann in Gutach-Breisgau originates from hydro power. 2 % reduction in global CO 2 emissions by A&E since 2006. 34 % reduction in global water use since 2006. 106,000,000 kwh of power have been saved since 2006.
