COBRAM & DISTRICT SPINNERS & WEAVERS INC AFFILIATED GROUPS WORKSHOPS WEEKEND (Conference) AUGUST 28 TH 29 TH 30 TH 2015 Accommodation for the weekend will be at the racv holiday village, campbell rd, cobram We hope you will come along and enjoy a weekend of fun, friendship and sharing of talents. Friday 28 th August Meet and greet at RACV Holiday Centre arrival time 2pm onwards Dinner at Cobram Barooga Golf Club 6.30 for 7PM Meeting Transport available from RACV Saturday 29 th August Breakfast at RACV Move to Yarroweyah Hall for Workshops, 9am Morning tea and lunch -- Afternoon workshops Back to RACV to prepare for dinner Dinner at Cobram Barooga Golf Club --- transport available from RACV Entertainment Parade - Drawing of Raffles Sunday 30 th August Breakfast at RACV Book out if not staying extra night at RACV Move to Yarroweyah Hall for workshops Morning tea and lunch Leave for Home Accommodation at the RACV Holiday Village is a 2 bedroom unit. One room will have a double bed and the other will have two singles. If you require a room on your own we will endeavour to put you in the double bed room. So, there will be 3 people to a unit. If you wish to stay an extra night (Sunday Night) RACV will accommodate you at half the normal cost. The payment of this is to be arranged with RACV at the time. To save costs, only one set of documents is being sent to each group. Please photocopy one registration form and medical information form for each person wishing to attend and return these forms as soon as possible. It would be nice to have all the support we can to enable this function to continue. Closing date for registrations is 30 th June 2015. Please send us any items you wish to have placed on the AGENDA for the meeting and forward Group Reports as soon as possible for printing and publication (Deadline 30 th June) Saturday evening s activities will include a fashion parade and show and tell session. Will have extra silk caps for sale. 25g $5.00 4 Broomstick Knitting Jill Warren 200grams 8ply Wool (enough for a scarf) 4mm knitting needles, 1 size 20mm knitting needle. 5 Button Necklace Shirley Coldwell The price will be $15 for the kit with a pattern and instructions Bring scissors and a big eyed needle big enough to accommodate approx. 4 ply wool.
