This instruction booklet contains two different sets of instructions. Be sure that you are following the correct instruction set for your loom before beginning any installation. 2. This kit contains parts to attach a Wolf Stroller to the Wolf Pup, Wolf Pup LT, Baby Wolf, and Mighty Wolf looms. Not all of the included parts are needed to attach the stroller to every loom; there may be parts left over when you have finished. 3. Wolf loom legs are called out by where they cross each other. The legs that touch the ground at the front of the loom are called inside legs because they are covered by the outside legs when they cross at the loom center. 4. FOR BABY WOLF looms with serial numbers lower than 4-1608, 4-4-1609, and 8-546, you will need to drill holes in the front and rear legs using the template on the last page. 5. The Wolf Pup 8.10 loom has its own Wolf Pup 8.10 Stroller (FL3052), with a different instruction booklet. If you received this booklet with your Wolf Pup 8.10 Stroller, please call or visit the Schacht website for the correct booklet. treadle bar rear brace B H H barrel nut (save) inside leg on right side of loom B FIURE 1 2 barrel nut (save) outside leg on right side of loom

BABY WOLF AND MIHTY WOLF LOOMS Assembly Instructions 1. Install the Wolf Stroller on a hard surface. Open the loom to weaving position (see front cover illustration). When you are working on the front caster blocks, set the treadle bar on a block of wood or a couple of books to raise the front of the loom about two inches. Set books/wood block under the rear leg brace when you are working on the back caster blocks. 2. Install the caster blocks to the inside legs and the treadle bar. Locate the trusshead bolt (B) that attaches the inside leg to the treadle bar on the outside of the leg 1" from the bottom (Figure 1, page 2). Remove the bolt from the leg. The barrel nut that held the bolt slips out of the underside of the treadle bar. Discard the bolt and keep the barrel nut. Set a caster block on the outside of the leg, with the caster wheel toward the front and the floor. Line up the hole (C) at the bottom of the block to the hole (B) in the leg and insert a new 3" machine screw though the caster block and the leg into the treadle bar (figures 1 and 2). Using a flat screwdriver to hold the barrel nut in place, tighten the bolt into the barrel nut. Repeat for the other inside leg. 3. Install the caster blocks to the outside legs and the rear leg brace. Remove the trusshead bolts (B) holding the rear leg brace to the outside legs (Figure 1, page 2). This time you will install the caster block with a new 3" machine screw through the center hole (D, Figure 3). Tighten the bolt firmly into the barrel nut. Repeat for the other outside leg. loom leg 4. Attach the top of each of the four caster blocks to the loom legs. Put a 2-¼" carriage bolt through the hole (H) in the legs from the inside, then through the top hole (A) in the caster block. into the loom leg using a rubber mallet or hammer and a piece of scrap wood. Place a washer and a lock nut on the carriage bolt and tighten the lock nut enough to draw the head of the carriage bolt into the wood of the leg (Figure 4). Note: When installing the caster block on the inside right leg, depress the brake release pedal or undo the brake release cord from the pedal, to allow easier access to the hole (H). Repeat for the other three caster blocks. If you detached the brake release cord from the pedal, reattach it. 5. Attach the metal support bar to the rear caster block. From the inside of the loom, insert a 1-½" hex bolt through the hole () in the rear caster block. Place a washer on the bolt and then place the circular hole at the end of the metal support bar (S) over the bolt so that the jog in the bar points inward. Secure with a lock nut. Tighten the lock nut, allowing the support bar to pivot (Figure 5). Repeat for the other rear caster block. 6. Attach the bolt to hold the front of the metal support bar when the loom is folded. From the inside of the loom, insert a 1-¾ hex bolt through the hole () in the front caster block. Secure the hex bolt with a washer and a lock nut. Place a ¼ wing nut on the bolt (Figure 6). Repeat Step 5 for the other front caster block. 7. Using the stroller. (Figure 13, page 7) Fold the loom. Tighten the fold-up knobs and secure the slide lock bars to prevent the loom from opening. You will notice that the loom is now sitting on its stroller wheels. Remove the wing nut from the bolt at () on the front caster blocks. Place the slots at the front end of each metal support bar over these bolts, replace the wing nut and tighten. 1-1 / 2 " hex bolt stroller support bar 1-3 /4" hex bolt FIURE 5 ¼" wing nut Your Wolf loom is now ready to travel. WOLF PUP / WOLF PUP LT LOOMS Assembly Instructions NOTE: If you installed wheels on your Wolf Pup loom, we recommend that you take them off before installing your Wolf Stroller. 1. Install the Wolf Stroller on a hard surface. Open the loom to weaving position (see front cover illustration). 2. Attach the caster blocks to the inside legs and the treadle bar. Locate the trusshead bolt (B) that attaches the inside leg to the treadle bar (Figure 1, page 2). Remove the bolt from the leg. The barrel nut that held the bolt slips out of the underside of the treadle bar. Discard the bolt and keep the barrel nut. 3. Set a caster block on the outside of the leg, with the caster wheel toward the front and on the floor. Line up the hole (C) at the bottom of the block to the hole (B, Figure 1, page 2) in the leg and insert a new 3" machine screw though the caster block and into the treadle bar (Figure 7). Using a flat screwdriver to hold the barrel nut in place, tighten the bolt into the barrel nut. Repeat for the other inside leg. 4. Attach the caster blocks to the outside legs and the rear leg brace. Remove the trusshead bolts (D) holding the rear leg brace to both outside legs (Figure 1, page 2). 5. Attach the right rear caster block with a new 4" machine screw through the bottom hole (C) and with the caster wheel towards the back and on the floor (Figure 8). Tighten the bolt into the barrel nut so that the stroller rotates but is not loose. NOTE: Follow steps 6 8 only if you are adding strollers to a Wolf Pup or Wolf Pup LT sold prior to December 2016. If you are working on a loom sold after that date, skip ahead to step #9. 5 3" machine screw FIURE 7 outside leg C FIURE 8 C 4" machine screw

6. Drill upper hole to secure rear caster blocks. Assemble the black plastic spacer onto the 2-½" hex bolt. Slide the bolt through hole () from the inside of the loom, and tighten a wing nut down on the exposed bolt (Figure 9). 7. Rotate the caster block until the black plastic spacer comes to rest as a stop against the loom leg. Hold a piece of scrap wood against the inside of the outside leg to prevent blowing out the wood when you drill; clamp the caster block and scrap wood into this position. 8. Using the top hole (A) as a drill guide, drill a ¼" hole through the outside rear leg. Remove the plastic spacer, bolt, and wing nut. Repeat steps 5 8 for the caster block on the left outside leg. 9. Attach the top of the caster blocks to the loom legs. Put a 2-¼" carriage bolt through the holes (H) in the legs from the inside, then through the top hole (A) in the caster blocks (Figure 10). Tap the carriage bolt into the loom leg using a rubber mallet or hammer and a piece of scrap wood. Place a washer and a lock nut on the carriage bolt and tighten the lock nut enough to draw the head of the carriage bolt into the wood of the leg. 10. Attach the metal support bar to the rear caster block (Figure 11). From the inside of the loom, insert a 1-½" hex bolt through the hole () in the rear caster block. Place a washer on the bolt and then place the circular hole at the end of the metal support bar over the bolt so that the jog in the bar points inward. Secure with another washer and a lock nut. Tighten the lock nut, allowing the support bar to still pivot freely without being loose. Repeat for the other rear caster block. stroller support bar 6 2" machine screw wing nut 1-1 /2 " hex bolt black plastic spacer ¼" x 2-¼" carriage bolt H A A FIURE 9 FIURE 10 FIURE 11

Secure the hex bolt with a washer and a lock nut. Place a ¼" wing nut on the bolt. Repeat for the other front caster block. 12. Using the stroller (Figure 12). Fold the loom. Tighten the fold-up knobs and secure the slide lock bars to prevent the loom from opening. You will notice that the loom is now sitting on its stroller wheels. Remove the wing nut from the bolt at () on the front caster blocks. Place the ovular slots at the front end of each metal support bar over the bolts, replace the wing nuts and tighten. Your Wolf loom is now ready to travel. 1-3 /4" hex bolt FIURE 12 ¼" wing nut wing nut FIURE 13 7

DRILLIN UIDE TEMPLATE Use a ¼" drill bit. For Baby Wolf looms with serial numbers lower than 4-1608, 4-4-1609, and 8-546, you will need to drill holes in the inside and outside legs using this template. Photocopy this page so that you can use a fresh template for each leg. 8
