We work hard all year to "get it right," and in the words of the Air Education and Training Command Commander, Gen Lorenz, "we make dreams come true." As you continue to work hard and finish strong this FY, I just want to say thanks. Thank you for serving your country and making a difference in the defense of this great nation. It has been a pleasure serving as your ASMC President this past year and I look forward to an exciting new year! V/R, Capt Thomas Cook President, Panama City Chapter Meet the Outgoing Secretary Scott Sheffield has lived in PC since 1993. He was stationed here in the Coast Guard from 1993-1996. He separated from the Coast Guard and went back to school in the spring of 1997. He graduated from FSU-PC in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management. He has two great girls that love to play soccer; both of them play at the club level for Bay United. When not working or coaching soccer, he loves to be out on the Gulf bill fishing. Meet the Treasurer Dana Hernandez obtained her AA degree from Los Angeles Harbor College and is working on her Bachelors degree. She has been in the finance profession for a total of 13 years, including three years of bookkeeping and accounting at Ingles Markets Inc., fours years of accounting at the Los Angeles Space and Missile Center, three years in Budget/Accounting, and three years as a Program Analyst at the Naval Surface Center. She has been a member of ASMC for five years, all of which she has served as Treasurer. Her husband is TSgt Jerry Hernandez, Tyndall AFB. She has six children, Derick 17, Sam 16, Vanessa 10, Elijah 7, Isabella 4, and Julian 3. She enjoys spending time with her family, working out, and watching movies.

Chip Fulghum, Director, Financial Management, HQ AETC, was the guest speaker. He presented a program on the A.S.M.C.'s of leadership. Next Chapter Meeting The date for the next chapter meeting is TBD. An e- mail will be sent out soon! New/returning officers will be installed at our next meeting.
