The Bunny Hill with Sally Terry* Tuesday, May 23 10:30am-4:00pm This beginner friendly class will cover copying the applique design to fusing and then stitching the pattern to the background. Then learn free motion applique as we create, stitch and cut out flowers. Use this fun technique and form your flowers into 3D posies and attach to your project. Every bunny deserves such an elegant bunny tail! Cost: $37.50 class, $4.00 pattern Christmas in July Sewathon Friday, July 28 9:00am-9:00pm, Sat. July 29 9:00am-9:00pm, Sun. Country Chicken Free Motion Raw Edge Applique with Sally Terry Saturdays, May 20 10:30am-3:30pm and June 3 10:30am-3:30pm This is the class to get you started on this incredibly unique country chicken that truly rules the roost. The first class you will work on fabric layout, transferring patterns and getting a good amount completed and fused down to your muslin base. This is a fun and fast way to do applique, no precision needed here! For the second class, you will learn the effortless free motion applique technique and learn how to stitch the shapes and travel among the feathers. Cost: $60.00 for class, $20.00 pattern Creative Quilts from Your Crayon Box with Nancy Wines* Wednesday, May 31 10:30am-3:00pm There are 2 options for you to pick from in this technique class using crayons. You get to pick which one to do! No sewing machine required for class! Fun and fast technique that you ll thoroughly enjoy! Cost: $33.75 for class, pattern provided in class Dear Jane Club with Jan Vaine Saturdays, May 13, June 10 and July 14 1:00-3:30pm Brenda Papadakis authored the book, Dear Jane, to recreate the wonderful quilt made by Jane Stickle in 1863. This quilt and Brenda s book have inspired quilters for the past 20 years! Join Jan on this quilting journey to make your version of Jane s intriguing quilt. The techniques learned while working on the blocks will add to or im prove upon your quilting skills, from machine to hand piecing, English paper piecing, and hand applique. Embroidery Club with Anne Morgan First Wednesday of every month 2:00-8:00pm Do you own an embroidery machine but haven t really used it? Join us the first Wednesday of each month for an afternoon of stitching and networking. Arrive any time after 2 but around 6 we will have show and tell, snacks followed by a hands-on project or demonstration. Many of our members come after work, so don t hesitate to join us on your way home! Leave your e-mail address at the store and we will send you meeting information each month. Cost: $5.00 per session, pay in classroom English Paper Piecing Support Club with Robyn Nelson* Fridays, May 12, June 9, and July 14 10:30am-1:30pm OR Sundays, May 7, June 11, and July 9 11:00am-2:00pm Newbies and seasoned EPP'ers are welcome. We will meet once a month to share our progress, learn new/different techniques and wonder in amazement at each others progress. This beautiful quilt would be a great scrap buster! It is also a good carry along project...great for picking up and putting down. You can work on it whenever you have a few minutes or several hours while traveling. Cost: $10.00 per session Flange Binding with Nancy Wines* Tuesday, May 30 10:30am-12:30pm This is a great binding technique for those projects you want to add binding to but don t want to sew down by hand. We ll show you a simple technique that will add a bit of interest and flair to quilts, table toppers, runners, etc. You will absolutely love finishing your projects this way! Cost: $15.00 for class, $5.00 kit Flips a Coin with Michele Maron* Monday, July 10, 17, and 24 6:00-9:00pm This is a great beginner's quilt and great fun for the experienced quilter alike. Cost: $45.00 for class, $9.00 pattern Follow the Leader with Nancy Wines* Wednesday, July 12 10:30am-3:00pm This is a perfect summer project and a great way to showcase some big splashy prints. It would look equally great in novelty prints or a favorite collection of fabrics. Easy cutting and piecing will have you finishing this in no time. Cost: $33.75 for class, $10.00 pattern Free Motion Freedom Feathers with Sally Terry* Wednesday, May 10 1:00-4:00pm OR Saturday, July 15 10:30am-1:30pm Learn to free motion feathers with a simple technique that means you will never have to be perfect. We learn to feather a spine and feather a stencil without marking or with very little marking. This is a great class to find out how your hands, eyes and brain work together at the machine. Are you right or left feathered? We will find out how to orient your fabric, move your hands and where to focus your eyes. Cost: $22.50 for class

Hand Embroidery 101 with Jan Vaine Friday, July 7 10:00am-3:30pm Learn the basics of hand embroidery or refresh the skills grandma, mom or auntie taught you as a child. This design was inspired by a vintage French embroidery. The techniques learned will include transferring a design, hooping, stripping floss, and choosing the right needles and thread. Cost: $40.00 for class, $8.50 book, $5 pattern (in class) Kid s Quilt Camp with Donna Lawrence* Monday thru Thursday, June 26-29 10:00am-1:00pm each day This is a beginner quilting class designed for kids. The students will learn basic quilting techniques: rotary cutting, piecing, layering, simple machine quilting and binding. They will be making a 36 x 45 quilt. Cost: $75.00 for class, $2.00 pattern Lanterns with Nancy Wines* Tuesday, July 18 10:30am-3:00pm It s the perfect quilt to a beginner or someone wanting a fun and easy quilt. A great way to use up a jelly roll you might have or buy one with a great new fabric line! Simple cutting and piecing make sewing this quilt together a real breeze. Cost: $33.75 for class, $3.00 pattern Mandala Wall Hanging with Joan Jaffray Tuesdays, May 17 and 24 10:30am-2:00pm Use a 10 degree wedge ruler and a striped fabric to create a mandala wall hanging that looks much more difficult than it is to make. Cost: $55.00 for class, $10.00 pattern, $11.00 ruler Night Stitchers with Michele Maron Fridays, May 5, June 16, July 21 3:00pm-midnight Come have fun and sew with us on the 3 rd Friday of the month (exception in May). Dive into your stash or pick some brand new Fat Quarters from your favorite quilt shop and with the background of your choice and you ll be sewing in no time! Just the perfect size to take to take on a picnic or a quick nap! Cost: $33.75 for class, $3.00 pattern T-Shirt Quilt with Michele Maron* Mondays, May 8, 15, and 22 6:00-9:00pm T-Shirt Quilts are a great way to celebrate, remember, or say "Thank you". They are easy to construct and give the recipient fond memories of past good times. Nice for grads, sports fans, and anyone who just can't get rid of those old T-Shirts. All levels of quilters will enjoy making this wonderful memory quilt! Cost: $50.00 class, $19.98 book Whole Nine Yards at Cinnamon s Saturday, May 6 9:00am-9:00pm We are opening the classroom to sew for $14.99 for the day. The sewing hours will be 9 to 9. Bring your own food, something to share or eat out. There will be no facilitator. It will be a pedal to the metal kind of thing. We are limiting the enrollment so each person gets an entire table to themselves. Shop will also be open for attendees from...you guessed it, 9 to 9! Add the Night Stitchers on Friday, May 5 th for just $10 and have a 2 day mini-retreat to knock out your to-do list! Cost: $14.99 Willow with Michele Maron* Mondays, June 12, 19 and 26 6:00-9:00pm This modern quilt is available in 2 sizes and fun for beginners and advanced quilters! I loved picking the background fabric because I am normally very conservative, but I really enjoyed letting my "wilder" side pick this one. Cost: $45.00 class, $9.00 pattern

CLASS POLICIES Classes are reserved on a first come, first served basis. You are only guaranteed a spot in the class if you have paid for it. We can take a credit card over the phone, you can order online or come in. Our system does not allow us to hold a spot without payment. -- Store credits will only be given for a cancellation made 6 days before the scheduled class. For cancellations made 2-5 days prior to class, store credits will be provided for 50% of the class fee to your customer account. NO refunds will be given for the "no shows" or cancellations made within 24 hours of the class. Please note teachers are not required to offer make up classes. -- You will be notified 5 days prior to class date if the class does not make and we will refund the full class fee. -- Class fees DO NOT include supplies or pattern unless stated in the class description. -- We try to start classes on time. Please arrive 15 minutes ahead of class to set up and get last minute supplies. Be ready when class begins. For before/after hour classes, we will open the doors 20 minutes before class begins. -- Children under 18 and guests are not permitted in adult classes. -- Please be familiar with the machine you are using. Please remember the power cords, foot pedal and all accessories (manual if needed). -- Please make sure your class will make before you buy supplies. A supply list will be given at the time of sign ups and are available on our website, www.cinnamonsquilts.com. Patterns and cut yardage are non-returnable. -- If an item is needed for class that is a special order, all orders must be received no later than the Monday of the week before class to ensure item will be delivered in time for class. This excludes possible backorders that are beyond our control. -- If you have signed up for a retreat or special event, store credit will be given only if we can fill your spot. Many times this is possible because we have a waiting list. We will try our hardest to fill the vacant spot, but no promises.
