We started with a building that needed much wk and with the help of many we were able to open in the Fall of 199. We only had a few bolts of fabrics and notions on the ste flo. Customers would come in and say Is this all you have? Our response would be You buy from us and we will have me merchandise and that is just what customers did. We couldn't have done it with our loyal customers and we thank you f that. All Class supplies must be purchased at Stitch N Time FABRICS. Sign up f a class and learn a new technique. Technique Classes A technique class will teach you to do a skill to create projects. Classes will require a purchase f the project. These classes will be f 2 hours and the fee will be $10 per class. Clothesline Baskets Create a basket using clothes line and strips of fabric. (kit only) In this Block of the month you may choose between making 4 smaller projects in the year class one of the Sampler Quilts. You could also do all of the projects if you would like to. Gathering of Quilters 201 Saturday, March 16, 201 Auburn, Indiana The Gathering of Quilters is just that. On the third Saturday in March quilters come together from nthern Indiana, southern Michigan, western Ohio, eastern Illinois and points beyond to share their craft. The group has grown from just a handful in 1990 to around 800 attendees in 2012. Various quilt guilds take turns hosting this quilter s fun day, by engaging a speaker, presenting a quilt show, sponsing a vends mall and just about anything else they think quilters would enjoy. The Noble Nimble Thimbles hosted the event in 2012 and are excited to be doing so again. What s in ste f 201 Our featured speaker is Karen Witt from Winchester, KY. Karen specializes in the histy of quilting, the use of reproduction fabrics and the creation of quilts with histic significance. WE HAVE JUST ADDED CERTIFIED QUILT APPRAISER, DONNA KOOISTRA TO OUR SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY. SHE WILL BE DOING QUILT APPRAISALS ON SITE. YOU MAY SCHEDULE A TIME FOR HER TO SEE YOUR QUILT(S) BY FOLLOWING THE LINK FROM THE MAIN MENU. Vends will be offering a variety of shopping opptunities. Traditional events such as the Ugly Fabric Exchange and Challenge, the annual Block Swap, and Show and Tell will give attendees chances to participate in the fun. Local quilters will present a quilt show of both new and vintage quilts. We will also be hosting the Hoffman Challenge quilts and the Col Journey exhibit. There will be many do prizes thanks to the generosity of our vends, advertisers and sponss. F the convenience of our vends and guests we have added the option of online registration. Hours: Dos will open at 8AM with guest check-in from 8-9. The program will begin at 9AM with our speaker's presentation beginning at 10AM.
