Retro-Reflex Sensors Retro-reflex sensors work with red or laser light and a reflector. If the light beam between the sensor and the reflector is interrupted, the output is switched. Even shiny objects such as mirrors, chrome plated or other reflective surfaces can be reliably recognized thanks to the integrated polarization filter.
