Cost: $15.00 class, $4.50 binding kit Basic Rotary Cutting Tips and Tricks with Janet Wells* Saturday, June 30 10:30am-12:00pm Great rotary cutting is the first step to accurate piecing! Join Janet (who actually LOVES the rotary cutting process and hires out her skill occasionally!) for some tricks and tips and PRACTICE! You will have a kit of fabric we will cut and different cutting assignments to complete in class. You will finish the class as a confident cutter, ready to tackle the most daunting of cutting projects! Cost: $15.00, includes fabric to cut Beginner Paper Piecing Through the Year with Janet Wells* Mondays, May 7, June 4, July 2 5:30-7:30pm Every quilter needs to have paper piecing as a skill they can do! Join Janet each month for a fun, seasonal paper piecing. We will work a few months ahead so your pieces are ready to display when the month rolls around! You can make pillows, a quilt, wall hangings or even table runners! Cost: $15.00 per class, $6.99/ea kit ($1 off for taking the class) Christmas Figs BOM Class with Janet Wells Last Mondays beginning July 30 (except December 17) 5:30-7:30pm Christmas Figs is a Block of the Month you won t want to miss! It will come from the book of the same name, which has the BOM quilt PLUS 10 extra projects as well! There are 20 blocks we will do from July 2018 to June 2019. The quilt finishes at 78½ x 96½. Your first month s kit will include your book as well as your kit. For those attending class, Janet will be pre-cutting your pieces needed for class for the first month! The class is to help with instruction during the BOM. Cost: $15.00 per class, $10 registration and $24.99/mo for BOM Cracked Pots Club with Janet Wells Second Mondays, May 14, June 11, (skip July), Aug 13 and Sept 10 5:30-8:00pm Cracked Pots is an amazing quilt with a fun life story in its name! This is a progressive quilt and we will make one section per month, starting with the middle and then building our borders out each successive month. You will need very accurate piecing and cutting to make this quilt but it really is do-able for confident beginners with patience. You can make this quilt really scrappy or make it with a fabric line you love-your choice! Cost: $70.00, $26.99 book

Dear Jane Club with Jan Vaine Saturdays, May 12, June 9 and July 14 1:00-3:30pm Brenda Papadakis authored the book, Dear Jane, to recreate the wonderful quilt made by Jane Stickle in 1863. This quilt and Brenda s book have inspired quilters for the past 20 years! Join Jan on this quilting journey to make your version of Jane s intriguing quilt. The techniques learned while working on the blocks will add to or im prove upon your quilting skills, from machine to hand piecing, English paper piecing, and hand applique. This is an ongoing club and you can join at any time. Cost: $45.00 for class quarter, $26.00 book Embroidery Club with Anne Morgan Second Tuesday of every month 2:00-8:00pm Do you own an embroidery machine but haven t really used it? Join us the second Tuesday of each month for an afternoon of stitching and networking. Arrive any time after 2 but around 6 we will have show and tell, snacks followed by a hands-on project or demonstration. Many of our members come after work, so don t hesitate to join us on your way home! Leave your e-mail address at the store and we will send you meeting information each month. Cost: $5.00 per session, pay in classroom English Paper Piecing Support Club with Robyn Nelson* Fridays, May 11, June 8 and July 13 12:30-3:30pm Newbies and seasoned EPP'ers are welcome. We will meet once a month to share our progress, learn new/different techniques and wonder in amazement at each other s progress. This beautiful quilt would be a great scrap buster! It is also a good carry along project...great for picking up and putting down. You can work on it whenever you have a few minutes or several hours while traveling. Cost: $10.00 per session Equilateral Triangle Quilt with Diane Slaughter Saturday, July 14 10:30am-2:30pm Part of our Ruler Club series, this lap quilt uses the 60-degree ruler. You will not finish this in class, but will know how to use ruler and you should be able to finish at home. A lot of sewing and cutting the 60-degree segments will be done in class. All fabric will be cut in class. Class is free when you purchase fabric required and 60 degree ruler at Cinnamon's. Cost: $30.00 or FREE class with purchase of fabric and ruler, includes pattern Flange Binding with Nancy Wines* Tuesday, May 9 10:30am-12:30pm This is a great binding technique for those projects you want to add binding to but don t want to sew down by hand. We ll show you a simple technique that will add a bit of interest and flair to quilts, table toppers, runners, etc. You will absolutely love finishing your projects this way! Cost: $15.00 for class, $5.00 kit

Free Motion Freedom Feathers for Beginners with Sally Terry* Tuesday, May 29 6:00-9:00pm, Saturday, June 30 12:30-3:30pm OR Wednesday, July 11 10:30am-1:30pm Learn to free motion feathers with a simple little technique that means you never have to be perfect. We learn to feather a spine and feather a stencil without marking or with very little marking. This is a great class to get find out how your hands and eyes and brain work together at the machine. Are you right feathered? Or are you left feathered? We will find out how to orient your fabric, move your hands and where to focus your eyes. Cost: $22.50 for class Free Motion Freedom for Beginners with Sally Terry* Tuesday, June 5 10:30am-2:00pm You have been asking for a Free Motion Class and here it is. The perfect class to get comfortable with your machine and learn how to follow patterns and stencils using Free Motion Techniques with Wiggle Room. Find out how to move your arms, focus your eyes and keep your shapes consistent. Receive patterns with Wiggle Room that will make you look perfect and hide the bobbles and wobbles. If you have taken any Free Motion Classes this class will be a great help to increase your skill level. We will even try a few Free Motion Fill Designs too. Don t be shy! See you there! Cost: $22.50 for class Hot Dish Casserole Carrier with Lynn Rogers* Wednesday, June 6 11:00am-2:00pm OR Monday, June 11 5:30-8:30pm Make a useful and decorative carrier for a 9x9 casserole dish. Fabrics from sample are available or choose your own fabulous combination to make this as a hostess gift, holiday gift or something to spruce up your dish. These fold to store flat and the pattern has both the 9x9 and 9x13 size patterns. We will make the 9x9 in class. Cost: $22.50 for class, $10.00 pattern How to Work With and Choose Kaffe Fasset Fabrics for a Quilting Project with Sally Terry Tuesday, July 17 6:00-8:00pm Bring your Kaffe Fasset Fabrics and a pattern or two you are considering and we will sort out all the fabulous colors, patterns and prints so they make sense. Kaffe s special color ways and patterning take a bit of explaining so we can get the colors and contrasts correct. And, also we will look at the size of the fabric s prints with their tones, tints, brights, muted and more. Also what type and color of background fabrics work best is also covered. If you don t know what to do with your fabrics this class will give you a clear vision on how to work with all that gorgeous Kaffe Fabrics with stunning results. Cost: $18.00 for class, $10.00 pattern Jelly Roll Rug/Trivet with Janet Wells* Tuesday, May 15 10:00am-12:30pm OR Monday, May 21 5:30-8:00pm The jelly roll rug is an amazing project that is so simple to make-with a few good tips and tricks! Join Janet for a fun class where we will learn all the tips and tricks and complete a jelly roll trivet (or hot pad) and then you can go home and make more or make yourself a jelly roll rug! Cost: $18.00 for class, $10.00 pattern Kids Quilt Camp with Donna Lawrence* Monday, June 25 through Thursday, June 28 10:00am-1:00pm each day This is a beginner quilting class designed for kids. The students will learn basic quilting techniques: rotary cutting, piecing, layering, simple machine quilting and binding. They will be making a 38 x 52 quilt. Cost: $75.00 for class, $2.00 pattern

Ladies Day Tea with Janice Milhollin Saturday, May 5 10:00am-7:00pm Come and enjoy a lovely day of sewing at Cinnamon's as we celebrate all ladies with a tea party! We will provide brunch at 10:00am and then do a make & take pincushion using a teacup and saucer. After the make & take you are free to work on your own projects. At 3:00pm, we will serve tea and cookies. Of course, you are welcome to bring your own snacks as well. We will end the day at 7:00pm. Cost: $35.00 Mosaic Mini Quilts with Nancy Wines* This is a fun little project that you're sure to enjoy. We'll cut small pieces of batiks into mosaic squares and using a fun technique from Cheryl Lynch make these cute mini quilts. Add a couple of borders and simple line quilting to finish it in no time. It's sort of addicting! Cost: $30.00 class, $30 class kit, $16 cutting tool (optional, but highly recommended) Mystery Retreat with Janet and Robyn Thursday, June 14, 3-9pm, Friday, June 15, 9am-9pm, Saturday, June 16, 9am-3pm It s a mystery and we can t share the puzzle answer until retreat time! Come join Robyn and Janet for a few days of sewing and mystery solving fun! We will have a mystery quilt we will work on (clue by clue!), play some games, eat treats, win prizes, and have A LOT of FUN! Make sure to get your fabric requirements and cutting list so you can come to the retreat ready to sew and have a great time. With 24 hours of sewing time, you should get this one ready for the quilter by close of retreat on Saturday! We will provide dinner on Thursday evening (6pm) and a catered lunch on Saturday (please choose your lunch when you register. Please bring a carry-in dish on Saturday for lunch. Cost: $90.00 per person (save $10 and register by May 15 th ) There are three (3) single tables available (first come, first served) for $135 per person. Night Stitchers with Michele Maron Fridays, May 4 and 25, June 8 and 22, July 6 and 20 3:00pm-midnight Come have fun and sew with us! Great way to meet new friends and get some projects done. Sign up in advance to reserve your seat it fills up quickly! Cost: $10.00 per session Pins and Paws Quilt with Michele Maron* Mondays, May 7, 14 and 21 6:00-9:00pm This is a great beginner quilt so much that we think even non cat lovers would enjoy putting this quilt together. You ll learn how to make flying geese and snowball corners. The hardest part is deciding which fabrics to use! It will introduce you to using pre-cut 10 squares and leave you wanting to make just one more before I go to bed because they are sew cute! Cost: $45.00 class, $4.95 pattern Punch Needle Embroidery with Lynn Rogers* Wednesday, May 23 11:00am-12:30pm OR 5:30-7:00pm Learn how to thread and use a punch needle tool to create a lovely miniature rug. Cost: $12.00 class + pattern

Quilter s Block Case with Jan Vaine* Saturday, May 26 10:00am-3:30pm Preserve your appliquéd and/or pieced blocks in elegant style in this Quilter's Block Case. Finishing to 18" x 18", it will lovingly embrace your blocks until they are ready to be pieced into a quilt. When opened, the case doubles as a design board! Cost: $45.00 Stitcher s Needlebook with Jan Vaine* Saturday, June 23 10:00am-3:30pm If you like to hand stitch, anything from appliqué to embroidery to sewing binding on your quilt, it's nice to have a little needle book to keep all your needles organized once they leave the packaging. This little wool appliqué and embroidered needle book is a relatively quick and fun project. Optional purchase in class: Needle Labels for $5.00 Cost: $45.00 for class CLASS POLICIES Classes are reserved on a first come, first served basis. You are only guaranteed a spot in the class if you have paid for it. We can take a credit card over the phone, you can order online or come in. Our system does not allow us to hold a spot without payment. -- Store credits will only be given for a cancellation made 6 days before the scheduled class. For cancellations made 2-5 days prior to class, store credits will be provided for 50% of the class fee to your customer account. NO refunds will be given for the "no shows" or cancellations made within 24 hours of the class. Please note teachers are not required to offer make up classes. -- You will be notified 5 days prior to class date if the class does not make and we will refund the full class fee. -- Class fees DO NOT include supplies or pattern unless stated in the class description. -- We try to start classes on time. Please arrive 15 minutes ahead of class to set up and get last minute supplies. Be ready when class begins. For before/after hour classes, we will open the doors 20 minutes before class begins. -- Children under 18 and guests are not permitted in adult classes. -- Please be familiar with the machine you are using. Please remember the power cords, foot pedal and all accessories (manual if needed). -- Please make sure your class will make before you buy supplies. A supply list will be given at the time of sign ups and are available on our website, www.cinnamonsquilts.com. Patterns and cut yardage are non-returnable. -- If an item is needed for class that is a special order, all orders must be received no later than the Monday of the week before class to ensure item will be delivered in time for class. This excludes possible backorders that are beyond our control. -- If you have signed up for a retreat or special event, store credit will be given only if we can fill your spot. Many times this is possible because we have a waiting list. We will try our hardest to fill the vacant spot, but no promises.
