WOF= Width of Fabric LOF = Length of Fabric Fabric A (4153P-68 24 Reindeer Panel Red/reen): Fussy cut (1) 23 x 40 ½ panel. Fabric (4156-88 Peppermint Allover Red), cut: (2) 2 x 40 ½ WOF strips. (2) 2 x 26 WOF strips. Fabric (4154-6 Tress reen), cut: (1) 6 ½ x WOF strip, sub-cut (4) 6 ½ squares. Fabric (4159-66 Reindeer Heads reen), cut: See instructions to cut (8) 4 circles. Fabric E (4155-88 Reindeer Allover Red), cut: See instructions to cut (4) 4 circles. Fabric F (4151-88 Snowflake Red), cut: See instructions to cut (4) 4 circles. Always press towards the darker fabric while assembling, unless otherwise noted by the arrows. lock Assembly 1. Sew (1) 2 x 40 ½ Fabric strip to each side of the 23 x 40 ½ Fabric A panel. Sew (1) 2 x 26 Fabric strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric A panel. Trim the block to measure 24 ½ x 42 ½ to make the enter lock (Fig. 1). 2. Following the manufacturer s instructions, trace the listed number of each template onto the paper side of the fusible web. Roughly cut out each template about 1/8 outside the drawn lines. 3. Press each template onto the wrong side of the fabrics as listed on the templates. ut out each template on the drawn lines. 4. Refer to Figure 2 to arrange and press (2) Fabric circles and (1) Fabric E circle onto (1) 6 ½ x 24 ½ Fabric H strip. 5. Finish the raw edges of each shape with a decorative stitch such as a buttonhole or satin stitch to make (1) Top/ottom order. Repeat to make a second Top/ottom order. 6. Sew (1) 6 ½ Fabric square to each end of (1) Top/ottom order. Repeat to make a second strip. Sew the strips to the top and to the bottom of the enter lock. 9. Sew (1) 2 ½ x 54 ½ Fabric strip to each side of the enter lock. Sew (1) 2 ½ x 40 ½ Fabric strip to the top and to the bottom of the enter lock to make the quilt top. Layering, Quilting and Finishing 10. Press the quilt top and 48 x 66 backing well. Layer backing (wrong side up), batting, pressed quilt top (right side up) and baste. Quilt as desired and trim excess batting and backing when quilting is complete. inding 11. ut the ends of the (5) Fabric I binding strips at a 45-degree angle and sew end to end to make (1) continuous piece of binding.
