DEAR SIR AND BROTHER: The regular conventions of Damon Lodge #12 are held on the first Wednesday of each month, except July and August, at our Castle Hall in the Grand Lodge Facility, 458 Pearl Street, Stoughton. The next regular convention will be held on Wednesday afternoon, April 18, 2018. All Brothers are asked to be present. Officers are required to attend. Brothers, the Officers Elect will be installed by our Deputy, Richard B. Albert, SR and his Suite. The dress for the officers of Damon Lodge will be Tie and Jacket... No exceptions. The Knights of Pythias is a great fraternal organization that helps people. We need new members to help us grow and our current members to step up to the plate and help us. Everyone should be asking a friend, relative and even a stranger to join us in our quest to help people. The new members will bring new ideas and the current members will help bridge the gap. Damon Lodge is one the oldest lodges in the Domain of Massachusetts and needs to refresh themselves in order to move on or in the end they will have to close their doors. As Chancellor Commander of Damon Lodge I would like to see us continue, but it is not my decision, it is yours. One or two individuals cannot do everything. We need new members and the current members to make this work. Hopefully, we will survive and prosper in the future to continue to help people in the future. Step up and be counted. Fraternally Yours, Sir Alan Zamansky, PSR/GT Chancellor Commander SADNESS AND GLADNESS Charlotte Weiss was taken to Milton Hospital by ambulance, having trouble walking. She s home, coming along. PC Milton Kling was rushed to Norwood Hospital, having a severe reaction to medication - which he said has been changed and/or reduced. Sir Steven A. Winer, GVC #6 passed away on 3/11/18; he was laid to rest on 3/15/18. Brother Steve will be missed by all. Our sincere condolences to his family. PC George Warsofsky passed away on 3/16/18; we was laid to rest on 3/18/18. Our sincere condolences to PC Howard Warsofsky and his entire family. Know of a Brother who is not well, in the hospital, had a death in the family, etc.? Please call Our Prelate, PGC Irving Weiss at 781-821-2841. If no one calls, no one knows. Do you have an E-mail Address? We lose Brothers because they move and don t tell us where. But when you move your e-mail address goes with you. If you tell us what your e-mail address is, we could always reach you, no matter where you go. So, please, e-mail our secretary, Allen Morris at asmorris405@msn.com. Then, if your U.S. snail mail is returned, or there is some other problem, we will be able to contact you promptly. We will not share your e-mail address with anyone. Please do it today, do not wait until you move.

WHAT HAPPENED IN MARCH? 03/07/18 The noon hour began with lunch- turkey or roast beef sandwiches with all the condiments, and potato salad... Compliments of Damon Lodge.
