Welcome to KLEINER STANZTECHNIK. The terms apples and oranges are used to refer to things that cannot be compared. At KLEI- NER, however, anything is possible, from microstampings measuring a mere 1 mm to lead frames with a surface of 162 cm 2. We can manufacture in small batches for the medical technology industry and in series of millions for the automotive industry. We can also produce snap domes with a thickness of 80 µm (stainless steel foil) and copper alloy busbars with a thickness of 4 mm for the electromobility industry. Find out more about our oranges and apples in this brochure. Of course you can also contact me personally at any time. After all, there s a good reason why we use the slogan We work out solutions. oranges and apples We can make both: in large quantities and quickly. The manufacture of precision stampings requires a great deal of skill in metal forming. We produce stampings as slim as 0.1 mm with pressing forces ranging from 20 to 250 tons at up to 1,400 stokes per minute. With stamping technology, nearly any shape or contour is possible. Thanks to progressive stamping, there are virtually no bounds in terms of design. More than 30 stamping machines with the associated peripheral equipment ensure that Kleiner always manufactures your product perfectly. Rotten fruit never makes it through the 100% quality checks.

THE BEST WAY TO HAVE A GOOD IDEA IS TO HAVE MANY IDEAS. Product development must always break new ground. An optimised manufacturing process can often be found for an existing product. At KLEINER, optimisation and redesign come from a single source. By combining practicality with innovation, KLEINER ensures that you reap maximum benefits from your products. Snap domes for accelerators, populated lead frames for electronic scooters, springs for insulin measuring devices or leak-tight switches for electronic scalpels are just some of our product developments so far.
We have: ISO/TS 16949:2009 DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 DIN EN ISO 14001 2009 DIN EN ISO 50001:2011 BS OHSAS 18001 8
QUALITY IS EVERYTHING. QUANTITY IS NOTHING WITHOUT QUALITY. In order to develop and manufacture a new product that meets the customer s quality requirements, systematic advanced product quality planning (APQP) is required. The APQP process accompanies product development and ensures that all customer requirements are met on schedule. Quality assurance consists of a target performance comparison that determines the extent to which products meet the expected quality requirements. KLEINER commits considerable resources to achieve this. Employee self-assessments, 100% quality checks or test cells at each production plant are just some of the ways in which we assure quality. Regular supplier audits and certification in accordance with DIN EN ISO 16949 are a matter of course for KLEINER.
COMPONENTS Omega shape you know if an assembly is good by looking at its individual parts. We create the basic foundations for the quality of the entire assembly in our stamping technology. 10
ASSEMBLIES Assembly manufacturing calls for an excellent understanding of the features and functions required. KLEINER offers you a team of skilled experts who accompany you every step of the way from the pre-development stage to large-scale production. Assemblies Battery terminals with LSR seals. Precisely matched parts are put together using intelligent assembly concepts manually, semi-automatically and fully-automatically State-of-the-art production technologies such as glueing, clinching, welding and foil insulation ensure high-quality, costeffective solutions. Together with our strategic partners, we also deliver system solutions for plastic components preassembled or moulded.
LEAD FRAMES Used in the millions. Our customised lead frames, which are used in electric servomotors for example, assist you every day while driving. ELOPIN The EloPin, an elastic press-in area that adapts flexibly to the conditions on the PCB, can replace known solutions quickly and safely both from a business and technical perspective. It produces an optimal electrical connection with a high degree of mechanical stability. 12
STAMPINGS AND PRESS-IN AREAS When designing your stampings, we do not just focus on your products, but also on their intended use. STAMPED/BENT PARTS MADE OF SPECIAL MATERIALS ABS and ESP sensors require reliable signal generators our parts ensure this at all times. Using your initial ideas or specification drawings as a basis, we pave the way towards series production together with you. If required, we construct a prototype with samples for validation or with small series production runs. We are experts in the manufacture of Elo- Pins and customer-specific press-in areas. KLEINER has a wealth of experience in the series production of millions of these products. With the EloPin, we also offer you a customised solution for your applications.
14 BUSBARS FOR POWER SEMI- CONDUCTORS Contact parts for connecting IGBT modules using state-of-the-art ultrasonic welding technology.
busbars Busbars are used in a variety of ways in power electronics. Besides current-carrying capacity, available space is becoming increasingly important in particular for electric and hybrid vehicles. KLEINER supplies the right part using relevant surface technology and an insulation layer for you this means: more room for your design ideas. INVERTER CONTACT PARTS: EXTREMELY DURABLE CON- TACTS Integrated, flexible connections ensure the stable electrical contact to the film capacitor, even in difficult conditions.
