Words from Protev Management Welcome to our 2016/17 Development Plan You can witness our work program and priorities for the next coming years. On behalf of Protev Group I am pleased to announce the opening of our new Tool-shop & Office at El Salto Jalisco, Mexico. Protev Group had undertaken an internal commitment to start up a tool shop for 20-ton mold repairs and developed office space designed to accommodate our customers during their project start or for any operational support to work close on the daily business. This business decision explains how we will meet our three operational objectives of protecting costumers, promoting competition, and enhance market integrity to meet our overall strategic objective of continuous grows in the NAFTA Region. We had decidedly expanded our operations first into the middle region of Mexico to serve our existing base in addition to new customers. I d like to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of our six staff members along with the Protev Group Juarez staff. Your energy and enthusiasm has driven impressive growth across our organization including our ISO 9001:2015 Certification activities. Thank you to all our members who have supported Protev Group and initiatives. Without your support, none of this would be have been accomplished. Protev Group is pleased to announce the opening of its new tool shop and offices The new tool shop in Guadalajara is located perfectly in the middle of the industrial area of the city, close to the airport and with good connections to the main highways of the state. This location guarantees us a fast response time, which is exactly what we need to support our customers in their mostly critical situations. Our 500 square meters of tooling area together with the annexed offices are well-built into the IMI 2 facility, assuring perfect work conditions for all our machines, tools and of course the staff operating in it. Furthermore, a 20-ton crane allows us to handle even very large molds and makes us a perfect allround supplier for every necessity. What do we offer in our Guadalajara facility? Based in our decades of experience in the plastic industry, we are offering a variety of services and products throughout the tooling business. Our core services in the Tool-shop are: Maintenance and Repairing - Repair of injection hot-runners caused by leakage - Complete injection molding tool maintenance with corresponding documentation - Maintenance and restoration of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems Polishing - Polishing of surfaces in new molds and recover of already damaged surfaces (high gloss areas) - Repair of contaminated surfaces (corrosion, scratches, gas-fog, etc.) - Fix demolding problems caused by stuck or overpacked material Laser Welding - For a faster and more precise repair Texturing - VDI surface repair by radiation (granules, beads, etc.) Additionally, we offer a wide range of different trainings by our experts to help companies improve their own maintenance programs. Moreover, we have several partners all over the world with which we can work together on projects like reflex insert production, production of spare parts, complete mold production, etc., to support our customer with everything they could need all around the tools. To deliver the proper support to each customer, besides the standard equipment like different types of welders, polishing material and other hand tools, we have integrated several highly efficient machines into the tool shop. For example, two Vertical Machining Centers, a CNC Mill, a large bed mill, a large EDM, and a spotting press and two surface grinders (please find on the following page a list with all specifications). Additionally, we will be able to do full 3D scans of plastic and steel parts due to our brand-new 3D We have several partners all over the world with which we can work together on projects like reflex insert production, production of spare parts, complete mold production, etc., scanning system. To maintain the discretion of our client`s needs, we built various meeting rooms into the offices and can provide all required technologies to assure a good information flow. From this facility, we can also coordinate emergency visits to customers through all middle and south Mexico if needed.
