Medium Mahogany Our engineered solid wood doors are made from the world s finest materials. All premium grade components are kiln dried and colormatched manually prior to assembly to ensure consistent appearance and performance. Expert craftsmanship, hand applied multiple step finish and time proven engineered design result in doors of unsurpassed quality and beauty. Dark Mahogany At Glenview Doors, we use banded stiles and rails. These are stronger than single solid wood pieces and significantly reduce the possibility of warping or splitting. Additionally, the finger-jointed and edge-glued core construction creates a system that is much stronger than solid wood alone. This provides much better stability over the life of the door. Cherry Our durable 3-ply wood panels will not twist, warp, shrink or expand. The panel is completely prefinished and sealed on all six sides before installation. We do not use nails to hold the panels in place. This permits free floating of panels between the fixed edges when the doors contract or expand. We utilize a ply of up to 1/4" thick as an outer facing that allows for multiple refinishing. There is no veneer to delaminate. Where design permits, we always apply large decorative raised mouldings on both sides. From a design perspective, all engineered parts are hand matched to ensure a consistent appearance and performance. Light Ash Our finishing process is among most advanced in the industry. All our doors are finished with the Sherwin-Williams³ exterior finish system, which has been extensively researched and proven to guard the natural beauty of premier wood. Please note that finishes presented on this page offer an indication of the final appearance: due to natural variations in texture, grain and color of raw wood, the actual results may vary. Dark Knotty Alder The wide variety of entry systems presented in this catalog matches most standard rough openings. Our standard design reflects a door thickness of 1-3/4" but we also make 2-1/4" thick panels. Our standard prehung systems are assembled with 4-9/16" jambs. Matching extensions are available. Light Knotty Alder We exclusively use our own heavy duty ball bearing patina coated brass hinge with a steel pin. The weight of one hinge is 13 oz.
