Team Summary: MHS WarriorBots 2 nd year 2017 Rookie Inspiration Award FIRST Robotics helps students push their mind and skills to the fullest using their knowledge of STEAM Our team works on the design and build of a robot to compete in FIRST events Everyone has an important role to play 3
Meet the Team Public Relations And Fundraising Team- Works on the fundraising and any marketing materials needed for competition Programming Team- Helps program the robot Electrical Team- Helps keep the robot running and responding quickly. Chassis Team- Helps build the frame of the robot Design Team- Helps design the robot Driver Team- Uses a remote control device to control robot during competition Game Mechanism Team- Works on the robot in the pit area Team Sponsor - Jeff DeGlopper-Leader of the WarriorBots and works with all teams to keep everyone on track 4

2017/18 Goals: 1. To raise enough funds so we can join multiple events 2. We will have 10 corporate sponsors committing to an annual donation of at least $1000 each 3. Our team will have participated in at least four community (non-fundraising) events 4. By May 2018, we will have submitted all documentation for multi-year grants 6
Team Funding Goal is to raise $26,000 (for two competitions and robot) Already have $14,000 but to accomplish all our goals we need to raise an additional $12,000 We will continue our efforts to secure fundraising partnerships, particularly after the creation of the fundraising plan Local community fundraising activities will likely take place during and after the competition season ends.
