Biography David Wong Louie was born in Rockville Center, New York, in 1954. He attended Vassar College (B.A. 1977) and the University of Iowa (M.F.A. in Creative Writing, 1981). His work has appeared in numerous magazines as well as in The Best American Short Stories 1989. He taught at Vassar College and currently is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at the University of California at Los Angeles. Scope and Content of Collection This collection consists of manuscript versions of short stories written by Dabid Wong Louie in the late 1970's and 1980's, many of which were published in Pangs Of Love: Stories.
