Portable Bypass Pump Connection At Scotties Sewer Pump Station DRAWING NOTES:. Not all facilities and features are shown on the drawings. Contractor shall field verify location, alignment and elevations of existing piping and appurtenances prior to beginning construction. Coordinate any necessary changes with owner. 2. Restore paving, landscaping and all other facilities damaged during construction to prior condition. 3. Field verify all depths prior to construction. 4. Camlock connection shall be 6 female, aluminum, and include a male plug. 5. Base Elbow shall be provided for vault pipe support. Anchoring of base elbow shall be by cast in or epoxied 5/8 min diameter 36 SS all-thread with 4 min embedment. 6. Precast Utility Box shall be sized to accommodate valves and camlock as shown and with a minimum wall clearance of 6 on all but penetrating sides. 7. Vault shall be supported by a 6 cast in place concrete slab with #4 @ 2 OC EW or precast concrete slab per utility box manufacturer s design. 8. All disturbed or replaced soils shall be compacted to 90%. Disturbed soil below the vault shall be compacted to 95%. 9. Tie-in to existing 4 HDPE force main shall be by HDPE branch saddle with flange adapter and stainless steel backing ring. 0. Provide worm gear operator with 2 square nut for the 6 saddle valve. Buried valve shall be wrapped and a 4 Sch 80 PVC pipe used to provide access from grade. A pedestrian rated Christy box or equal shall be use to conceal the top of the riser pipe.. All hardware shall be 36 SS, including plug valve and check valve bolts. 2. All new piping shall be flanged ductile iron with a min. pressure rating of 50 PSIG. 3. All new piping shall be coated with high solids epoxy in accordance with Section 0990.` 4. Plug and check valves shall be as specified in Section 54 and Section 55. 5.
