Hello - and welcome to Mrs Moore. I feel sure that my products will put a smile on your face and bring a touch of British eccentricity into your life. Each and every one of my fine bone china pieces combines supreme high quality with a quintessentially English feel. I am very proud that all my distinctive designs are hand-made in Staffordshire, England s historic centre for pottery production. The artwork is silkscreen printed by hand, layer upon layer, for an impressive depth of colour. This painstaking process also makes the fine bone china extremely hard-wearing, and suitable for dishwashers and (almost always) microwaves. P.S. Taking care of our fine bone china... All Mrs Moore s ceramic products are hand-made from the very finest English bone china. Every bone china piece that does not have any precious metal finish is completely dishwasher and microwave safe. Here at Mrs Moore, we are all about vintage living in a modern world. Simple pleasures, such as drinking tea from a proper teacup and saucer, make me extremely happy. Like me, my products are a little eccentric, a tad whimsical and definitely nostalgic. ANA S STORY You want to know a little more about me? What inspired me? Let me see now... Well, in order to find the answer we have to back a long way somewhere around 1970, when as I five year old I decided that I wanted to look as stylish as my mother and grandmother - and so my love of all things vintage began. And so that leads me to the present day... I decided that I wanted all of my products to be completely made in England - from start to finish. I adore anything vintage; it conjures up a lifestyle full of charm in a world of beauty, loveliness and care that I cannot help being drawn to. It is a world where my grandmother and mother took great pride in being homemakers... their gardens were beautifully tended, their wardrobes were testament to elegance and quality, and their kitchens were always full of wonderful aromas. However, much as I love all things vintage, I also enjoy living in the 21st century and all the benefits that go with it, such as the internet and all the exciting shopping opportunities that it brings. What I cannot resist are the simple pleasures that can be had by allowing some finesse to enter my life - like drinking tea out of a proper teacup and saucer. And for them to be of the highest quality. I founded Mrs Moore at the end of 2013 and have never looked back. Whilst I continue to get excited with each new design that I produce, my time is also devoted to running the business, attending trade fairs and ensuring that everything I produce is of excellent quality. My stockist list continues to grow, both in the UK and abroad - and I couldn t be happier! Several of my designs are hand painted with 22 carat gold detailing simply because I love sparkly things - I m such a magpie! So, it is with a passion for vintage fashion and the glamour of past times, I bring you Mrs Moore - timeless, nostalgic heirlooms with a modern day English eccentricity!
