EU-Japan Research & Innovation Cooperation Framework EU-Japan Science and Technology (S&T) agreement in force since 2011 EU-Japan Joint S&T Cooperation Committee: 2011, 2013, 2015 The Strategic Partnership Agreement includes an agreed article on the importance of enhanced Science & Technology and Innovation (STI) cooperation; and the negotiated Free Trade Agreement will boost STI cooperation and related issues of norms and standardisation.
EU-Japan Research & Innovation New Strategic Partnership More frequent and deep consultation at multiple levels: Summits, Joint S&T Committee, Senior Officials meetings, Task Force meetings, thematic dialogues Thematic cooperation in key strategic areas: ICT, aeronautics and materials (including critical raw materials); and new cooperation possibilities in health, energy, environment and high energy physics.
