BEFORE STARTING BASE INSTALLATION Make sure all plumbing connections have been prepared before installation. *WOODEN STILE DRY WALL TILE ACRYLIC BASE Follow installation procedure as shown in the manual for the base. Make sure the base have been installed as the illustration shows. (*) wooden stiles are needed as support for tracks STEP 1. PREPARATION Mark a reference line on the acrylic base that will be aligned with the glass panel-center track of the profile. This reference line will be the location of the glass panels. We suggest wall-wood stiles to be aligned with wall jamb profiles and support bars. Align glass panel-center track of the profile with reference line. A Wall-wood stiles should be aligned with wall jambs profiles anchors. support bar A = 7-1/4 B = 5-1/4 reference line B 2
STEP 2. WALL JAMBS PLACEMENT Provisionally place the wall jambs aligned with the reference line marked on the acrylic base in step 1 (make sure profile center track corresponds with the reference line). With a pen, mark holes to be drilled on the wall. Wall jambs must be installed with the same height. Mark, with a pen, the holes on the wall to be drilled next, where the anchors will be installed. Use a level for better results. wall jambs vertically, in a correct way. 3-C 3-A 3-B STEP 3. WALL JAMBS INSTALLATION Drill a hole on each mark made on previous step with a drill bit (3-A). Use a smaller bit and gradually increase the size so tiles don t break. Insert anchors in the holes using a rubber mallet to protect the tiles (3-B). Finally fix the wall jambs on the wall with the screws supplied (3-C). 3
STEP 4. FIXED GLASS PANELS PLACEMENT Place fixed glass panels into wall jambs, installed on step 3, using a level to make sure they are straight. Fix the panels with the small screws within the small ovals in the inner side of the wall jambs. adjustment wall jamb glass panel 5-A Make sure magnetic gaskets meet correctly. glass panels vertically and horizontally, in a correct way. Make sure glass panels are even, otherwise door will not close properly. STEP 5. mobile glass panels vertically and horizontally, in a correct way. MOBILE GLASS PANEL INSTALLATION Previously fix magnetic gaskets by pushing on big fixed panel glass edge as well as on mobil panel (5-A). Install door hinges making sure mobil and fixed panels are height-even. 5-B 4
STEP 6. TGHT BAR SUPPORT INSTALLATION Install first tight bar support on fixed glass panels and place provisionally support bar and support bar cover, to determine the holes on the wall (6-A). Drill hole in the wall (6-B) and insert anchor in the wall (6-C). Fix tigh bar cover with screws supplied (6-D). Install support bar to definite position (6-E). 6-A 6-B 6-C 6-D 6-E 7-B 7-D 7-C 7-A STEP 7. SUPPORT BLOCK INSTALLATION Place support blocks on acrylic base, and mark position of the hole of the inner part (7-A). Drill a hole, very carefully, on the acrylic base with a small drill bit (7-B). Fix the support block to the acrylic base with the screws supplied (7-C). Insert support block exterior cover with the screw supplied (7-D). 5
