A Storybird What Does the Easter Bunny do All Year? by Kathy Prine

A Storybird What Does the Easter Bunny do All Year? By Kathy Prine Illustrated by bluedogrose Published on April 21, 2011 Storybird 2011. All rights reserved. Not for resale.

This book is dedicated to my grandchildren; Nate, Ashlynn, Hunter, Preston, and Kadi. April 2011

January is a time for playing in the snow with friends and family. The Easter Bunny enjoys making a big bunny snowman with his children. Each year the bunny families get together to see who has the most creative bunny snowman of all. The Easter Bunny has been busy planning for next January. He really hopes to win the contest next year.

February is always a special time for the Easter Bunny. He loves to make cards to share with his friends. But, his favorite part is receiving them from his family and friends. He always invites his friends to join him for a festive Valentine picnic. He likes to use his fancy plates and cups for his picnic.

March is vacation time for the Easter Bunny. He likes to get into his space ship and visit the planets in the solar system. Next year he hopes to visit Saturn.

Last year in March, the Easter Bunny traveled by himself in his new SS Carrot spaceship. He was able to look out of his bubble windshield to see all the objects in the solar system. He brought home some moon dust to share with his family.

As usual, April is a busy time for the Easter Bunny and his staff. They work hard getting the Easter eggs decorated and ready to deliver on Easter morning. He always finds time to do his famous Easter egg juggling trick. The Easter Bunny s birthday is also in April. He enjoys eating cake and opening presents from his friends and family.

May is such a beautiful time of the year. The flowers are starting to bloom and the air is starting to get warmer. The Easter Bunny always enjoys a good flower pot float with Mr. Turtle leading the voyage. The weather is perfect in May for being outdoors blowing bubbles and enjoying life.

During the month of June the Easter Bunny likes to spend time on his uncle s farm. He loves to ride the horses with all of his barnyard friends. They go on long horseback rides and sing all of their favorite songs like, Old McDonald Had a Farm.

July is family vacation time. The Easter Bunny likes to take his family to the beach to play in the sand and take sailboats out to visit with the dolphins. He always brings along a few of friends each year to enjoy the fun in the sun.

In August the Easter Bunny likes to take a camping trip to enjoy the beauty of nature. He loves to spend time with the animals in the forest and listen to their stories. He always brings along a special snack to share with them on his camping trips. They always enjoy backpacking and playing games around the campsite.

September marks a very special time for the Easter Bunny and his wife. They celebrate their wedding anniversary each year with a big party with all their family and friends having a great time.

Last September the Easter Bunny and his wife was surprised with some special visitors. The Hip Hop Bunny Band attended their celebration and played a special love song that they wrote especially for Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny.

In October the weather is starting to get cooler and the leaves are falling to the ground. The Easter Bunny always enjoys seeing and listening to the hoot owls at night as they swoop through the air to land on a lonely tree limb. It is a very quiet time for the Easter Bunny because most of his friends do not like to be outside during the cool nights in October.

November is time to enjoy the big Thanksgiving meal with the family. The Easter Bunny loves this time of year because Mrs. Easter Bunny bakes his favorite fig cookies to serve after the big feast. After the big meal, the family relaxes and enjoys family time in their living room. Shhhhh..I think the Easter Bunny is taking a nap because his belly is too full.

The Easter Bunny and his family enjoys decorating their house in December. They always have a beautiful tree that is trimmed with red balls. Mrs Easter Bunny is always baking a sweet treat each day to share with her family.

On the 25th day of December, the Easter Bunny borrows a reindeer to help him deliver his gifts to all his friends. They like to sing Christmas carols along the way. Jingle Bells Jingle Bells Jingle All the Way.

Now you know what the Easter Bunny does all year long.
