Program Deliverables CAP Communiations Stay informed with a timely and foused window into the market plae of new developments in atalysis Weekly emails apturing the latest global ommerial and sientifi atalysis developments are annotated with unique insights, observations and reommendations for ompetitive advantage. CAP Tehnial Reports Gain a ompetitive advantage through onfidential state-of-the art studies in atalysis Three (3) state-of-the-art reports are produed annually overing R&D and ommerial development in atalysis. These exlusive reports are authored and peer reviewed by the world s leading sientists. Topis are determined by the membership (via ballot) and report sope/ontent is shaped by member input. CAP Liaison Diretory Initiate joint R&D with another CAP member ompany Contat information is supplied for the essential point-person at eah CAP member ompany AtiProjet Communiations CAP Annual Meeting Initiate a drill down study to find your unique opportunity As needed, emails ontaining exlusive, members-only orporate opportunities are offered to share R&D and strategi partnerships for joint tehnial and/or ommerial development in new tehnologies/businesses. Additionally, CAP members may also reate their own AtiProjets to soliit to the membership. Meet CAP members fae-to-fae to build amaraderie, disuss issues and initiate ollaborative (JV/alliane) opportunities An informal, ollaborative (JV and alliane building) event is held one a year, exlusively for members, alongside one of the industry s leading sientifi platform onferene(s). 4

Proven Benefits of CAP R&D Tehnial Reports Exlusive Member Input Three (3) state-of-the-art R&D tehnial reports are produed exlusively for members eah year overing R&D and ommerial development in atalysis. Topis are determined by the membership (via ballots) Report sope/ontent is also shaped by member input (via TOC feedbak) Experts Authored by the world s leading sientists to inlude the relevant emerging tehnologies and also disuss the tehnial hurdles that must be overome to ahieve ommerialization. Quality Peer reviewed by experts from industry/aademia and edited by TCGR to ensure high quality and standards 5

Need/Justifiation Getting Your R&D Gears in Motion Aording to the 2013 IEA, ICCA, and DECHEMA Tehnology Roadmap, atalyst and related proess improvements ould redue energy intensity of the 18 most energy intensive hemial produts by 40% as a whole by 2050. Combine resoures with leading ompanies to jointly investigate the leading tehnologies in atalyti researh Just as it beomes inreasingly diffiult to push the envelope of tehnology development, R&D budgets are being onstrained. Through CAP, members not only share a ommon interest in applied atalysis, members also benefit from shared R&D interests. Identify the best routes for development The growing development of international R&D enters shows that spreading R&D efforts is a sound growth initiative There is an inreasing diversity of approahes used in refining and hemial proessing. Investing in the wrong approahes an be quite ostly; investing too early (or too late) an be atastrophi. With CAP, your soures of tehnial innovation and industry information are broader and deeper than ever. 10

Reent Examples of CAP s Benefits Cirle of Suess Used the Liaison Diretory to identify new lients interested in its HTE equipment. Used the opportunity to address the membership at the CAP Annual Meeting to bring others to its new R&D enter. CAP members have Engaged several members to jointly reate an AtiProjet that studied valueadded NGL solutions. Used CAP tehnial reports as initial resoures to researh new R&D projets. Identified a new business unit to purhase from a CAP Communiations announement. 11

Program Options and Fees CAP is an annual onsortium with two levels of partiipation in 2017: Full Membership at $32,000 per year; Assoiate Membership at $25,000 per year. Full membership entitles the subsriber to all three (3) tehnial reports produed eah year. At the Assoiate level, the ompany selets two (2) of the three (3) tehnial reports produed eah year. Partiipation in AtiProjets may require an additional fee. One a ompany has ommitted to joining the program for two onseutive years (e.g., 2017-18), they may elet to exhange report seletions in a given year for previously ompleted reports (i.e., those in the CAP library ). The membership has inluded this 2-year requirement to avoid ompanies suspending their memberships without losing report privileges. Eah member ompany signs a Corporate Membership Agreement, whih fully douments the program ontent and operation. Examples of seleted program deliverables (i.e., exerpts of ompleted reports, weekly CAP Communiation emails, member ballots, atual report Tables of Contents, et.) an be made available upon request. Additionally, testimonials from CAP members are also available. Note that at no time are member ompanies expeted to ontribute ontent (e.g., R&D results, tehnology development progress, et.) for the reports or other program deliverables. The intelletual property of all member ompanies remains proprietary to them and program deliverables are based solely on TCGR enhaned publily available information. 12
