1. Product introduction The 40 W Dimmable LED Linear Light is a new addition to the Comus LED range. The 40W version is part of the new LED Linear Light High Bay range that comprises of: 20, 40 and 50W fixtures, either as single or chain configuration. Also upon request a square version is available with up to 6 modules installed in parallel. Narrow (60 ) or wide (90 ) options for the optical system are also available in order to provide complete flexibility in the design. The LED chips from Samsung represent a high efficient light source making the luminous efficacy of one fitting reaching 125 lm/w. The power supply used has a high efficiency, high PF power supply control system which equipped with PWM technology to ensure smooth dimming. Additional features are detection and daylight sensors, emergency function and DALI, available upon request. Areas of application: Factories; Production halls; Warehouses; Ships; Airports; Subways; Commercial sites; Panorama lighting; Gymnasiums; Supermarkets; Overpasses. Me th od of installation Su sp end e d 1. Single fitting Figure 6.1 Linear Light LED single configuration In order to ensure proper installation please follow the steps described below: 1. Install the suspended chain and mount the clip on the chain; 2. Open the end caps using a screw driver and insert the reflector; 3. Fix and secure the module using the mounting clips; 4. Connect the wires and the dimmer and then switch on the fixture for test. Figure 6.2 Linear Light LED single suspension
2. Chain connection In order to ensure proper installation please follow the steps described below: 1. Open the end caps using a screw driver and insert the reflector; 2.A Remove the end caps at each side when you install the modules in a chain configuration; 2.B Connect the internal electrical terminals (male and female connectors); 3. Achieve mechanical connection using the screws and connection plates available; 4. On the last module of the chain some wiring needs to be done as presented in the electrical wiring diagram. In order to improve our customer's experience we have added an upgrade to ensure a more convenient and easy installation: The mechanical plate is upgraded and fixed inside the line light; The electrical connector is placed on the mechanical plate; The user only needs to can connect the connectors by hand, the fix them using 2 screws for a connection between 2 modules of Linear Lights.
