General terms of the technical exhibition Terms of registration The registration is effected by a registration form, which has to be filled out, signed in due form and sent to the organizer of the event. Rent of exhibition space The exhibitor receives a confirmation after acceptance of his registration. The exact allocation of the booth will be done by the organizer at a later point of time. The assigned booth may be adapted to the local construction regulations in width and depth. For assigning exhibiting rights to a third party, a written authorisation issued by the organizer is necessary. Stand layout The organizer has arranged the conditions of booth layout and design in co-operation with a booth builder. The exhibitor is required to follow these conditions and has to bear all costs of additional fittings and equipment, which have to be coordinated with the booth builder. It is not permitted to glue, nail or drill into the exhibition material (displays, furniture, etc.) provided by the organizer. In case of damaging exhibition materials the exhibitor will be held responsible. Cancellation of the contract Registered companies, which have received a written confirmation, cannot cancel the contract free of charge. The exhibitor owes the organizer 35 % of the total booth rent, independent from any proof of loss. Security control of the exhibition place The organizer is only responsible for entrance and exit security control during the opening hours of the exhibition. There is no booth security control done by the organizer. The organizer is not held liable for theft or personal and material damage. Liability exclusion or insurance The organizer is not held liable for any damage, loss etc. of the exhibitor's own or rented goods or persons, caused by the exhibitor or his helpers during the exhibition, building up the booth, dismantling of the booth or during transportations to or from the exhibition grounds - not even if these damages or losses are caused without the exhibitor's or his helper's fault. Therefore, we strongly recommend exhibitors to take out their own insurance of exhibition materials against usual dangers such as fire, theft, weather damages, transportation damages and damages in general. Terms of payment The exhibitor is obligated to pay the total amount of the rent within 14 days after date of invoice. The organizer is authorized to cancel the contract and to rent the exhibition space to another company, if the total amount has not or only partly been paid within the expiring date. /AMK
