HR_IMAGE_2015 - Optical HR Pan Europe Coverages Dataset description: Up to two High Resolution (10-20m) optical coverages of 39 European States (EEA-39) including all islands of those countries plus French Overseas Departments (DOMs) acquired within predefined windows corresponding to the vegetation season in 2014-2015. Each coverage is delivered in two processing levels: level 1 and level 3. Ortho-rectified products are provided in both national projection (national coordinate reference systems) and European projection (ETRS89-LAEA, EPSG code 3035), except DOMs (only national projection). Contributing data providers: GAF, Airbus Defence and Space, ESA. Dataset implementation status: closed Gap filling activities with Sentinel-2 data have been completed. Contributing Mission SPOT-5 Data Provider Airbus Defence and Space Implementation Status Airbus DS delivered all available SPOT-5 2014 archive over EEA-39 countries and one coverage with SPOT-6 and Spot-7 over the French DOMs. Resourcesat-2 GAF GAF AG completed on 6 December 2016 the delivery of the 1129 Resourcesat-2 products being part of the final optimised coverages as a result of data assessment by EEA. Sentinel-2A ESA About 650 and 1800 S-2A tiles have been selected to cover the gaps of COV#1 and COV#2 respectively, resulting in a coverage achievement of 99.8% and 77.6% excluding the French DOMs (see maps below). The lists of selected products (including the CopHub links) are available at: https://spacedata.copernicus.eu/web/cscda/dataset-details?datasetid=hr-image-2015 Table 1: HR_IMAGE_2015 dataset implementation status

VHR_IMAGE_2015 - Optical VHR multispectral and panchromatic coverage over Europe Dataset description: One Very High Resolution (<=1m pan, 2-4m MS) optical coverage of 39 European States (EEA-39) including all islands of those countries plus French Overseas Departments acquired within predefined windows corresponding to the vegetation season in 2014-2015-2016. Each coverage is delivered in two processing levels: level 1 and level 3. Ortho-rectified products are provided in both national projection (national coordinate reference systems) and European projection (ETRS89-LAEA, EPSG code 3035), except DOMs (only national projection). Contributing data providers: Airbus Defence and Space, EUSI, Deimos Imaging (see large regions allocation and scenes accepted in Figure 3). Dataset implementation status: closed The dataset was implemented as follows: - Delivery of compliant approved data by the pre-assigned CCMEs - Gap filling phase 1, including partially compliant data from the pre-assigned mission plus archive compliant data from back-up missions. After data assessment, the cloud free coverage achievement for the entire AOI (39 European States) was about 91%. - Gap filling phase 2, including additional Pleiades data as well as SPOT-6/7 data where no compliant data could be found. Final cloud-free coverage achievement is about 98.5% (excluding the French DOMs). Detailed information for each large region is included in table 2. All data, including coverage DOMs, were delivered to the CDS archive by 23 April 2018 and are available to users.
