Page 3 This year we will be celebrating women, their lives and quilts. Judging will be by a certified judge and members may enter only one of their quilts to go through the judging process. You will have written feedback on the judging. Members can still enter as many quilts as they wish. We are encouraging EVERY MEMBER to think about putting one quilt in BEGINNERS especially![ We all had to start someplace!] This past year only 60 members exhibited and we had over 100 quilts in the show. SUNSHINE LADY! Please be sure to contact me, Doris Bennett, if you know of someone in our guild who could use some get well wishes, condolences, thinking of you or any other expressions of care and concern. I m very happy to share our prayers and good wishes to any member in need of them. Sympathy is extended to Ruth Caisse and her family on the death of her husband Steven on August 30th after a lengthy battle with cancer. Rosemarie Gilson, a long time MVQ member died on July 20,2010 from a heart attack. Her last days were spent at the Hospice where so many of our quilts give solace and comfort.
