9 1 8 9 F r a m i n g ( 1 1 B ) 3 0 S / 3 0 E / 3 0 M Course Description In this course, students will learn basic framing techniques. It includes many of the objectives found in Carpenter Level 1, Unit A6: Wood and Wood Products, from Apprenticeship Manitoba. This course takes the place of 8586 Foundations and Floor Framing, and 8587 Wall and Basic Roof Framing, which will both end in August 2017. Students may not receive credit for 9189 and 8586 or 8587. Goal 1: Describe and apply appropriate health and safety practices. GLO 1.1: Describe and apply appropriate health and safety practices.
