Aspherical Lenses Bak-4 Spectacle Wearers Eyecups Luger DIM Full Coating ED-Lenses Phase Corrected Zoom Aspherical Lenses The application of aspherical lenses leads to an accurate collimating of the light beam at the focal point of the optical system. As a result the use of aspherical lenses guarantees a crisp image definition even within the border area of the field of view. s The quality of the prism glass is essential for the quality of an optical system. BaK-4 prisms consist of ultrapure barium crown glass with a high refractions index and form the basis of excellent image quality. Spectacle Wearers Eyecups Optics that contains spectacle wearers eyecups have a certain pupil distance that allows for the use of the optics while wearing spectacles. There are two different kinds of spectacle wearer s oculars: Foldable soft rubber eyecups and solid twist-up eyecups. By folding or twisting the eyecups up or down, every user can adjust their ideal eye disatnce, while wearing spectacles or not. Luger DIM Full Multi-Coating Luger DIM full multi-coating on Luger binoculars increases light transmission and reduces distorting glare. The benefit: a very bright, high contrast image with high resolution. The advantage of Luger DIM full multi-coating is of a particular benefit in poor light conditions. ED-Lenses The use of special ED-Glass (extra low dispersion) for the objective lense reduces chromatic aberration to an absolute minimum. The result is an incredibly true colour image with no stray light or colour fringe. Contrary to costly apochromatic lens systems, ED-Objectives consist of only two lenses to obtain low weight and compact construction of the optical system. Phase Coating The special phase coating on the prisms of certain roof prism binoculars secures a correction of the frequency of multi-reflected rays to the natural magnitutde. This design requires an accurately computed optical system. The result is an image absolutely true to nature. Protection Lugers waterproof optical devices are filled with dry nitrogen and hermetically sealed. This not only prevents water from penetrating but also protects the optical systems against the intrusion of dust particles and other impurities. Thus Lugers waterproof optical devices are all-weatherproof and extremely durable. Zoom Binoculars, monoculars and spotting scopes with zoom capability feature a continuously variable magnification. The magnification is infinitely adjustable between minimum and maximum magnification. Travel & Hiking Hunting Wildlife & Observation Boating Mountaineering Spectator Sports 78
