Metal detecting since 1987, Robert enjoys hunting parks, schools and beaches. His display of gold and silver jewelry was quite impressive. Included in his rings was a very nice Tanzanite and diamond ring that made the cover of Western Treasure magazine. His recovery of a David Yurman pendent was very nice as well. Robert has assisted a number of people over the years finding lost jewelry. Robert s metal detecting arsenal includes 7 detectors, but he typically hunts with a Minelab 705 and a Surfmaster.

That service to historical societies, law enforcement agencies, and charitable organizations, is an integral part of a treasure hunter s code of ethics.
