Temperature, vltage, current, and resistive signals can be cnnected withut the need fr any hardware changes. In additin, the transmitters feature an integratr functin, e.g. fr analgue/pulse cnversin, sample-and-hld tasks, and als differentiatin f the input signal are pssible. The transmitters meet the market requirements regarding reliable EMC prtectin, fleibility and reduced stck keeping. The versin with built-in display allws cnfiguratin and parameter setting via the frnt panel keys. With a PC and cnnecting adapter, bth the indicating versin (CI) as the blind versin (CB) can be cnfigured and adjusted remtely. This allws dcumentatin f the adjusted parameters, as als reading f the input signal and parameters during peratin. DESCRIPTION The transmitter has independent signal inputs fr thermcuples, resistive temperature sensrs, resistance transducers, DC-vltage and DC-current. Fr thermcuple measurement, the cld-junctin cmpensatin is prvided with a built-in sensr. Resistance thermmeters can be cnnected in - r 4- wire cnfiguratin. Signals (thermcuples included) can be linearized with up t 8 segments. The versin with etended cmputing facilities prvides additinal functins: Integratin sample-and hld and differentiatin. The functins are triggered via a cntrl input which replaces the resistive input. INPUT CIRCUIT MONITOR Resistance thermmeter, thermcuples, resistance transducers are always mnitred fr break. Signalling ptins red LED in frnt (lights up n alarm) via switching utput (selectin f energized r de-energized r nt peratinal) via the utput signal (selectable fr upscale r dwnscale). SENSOR SIGNAL CORRECTION Sensr signal crrectin is used t match sensr and transmitter fr tlerance-cmpensated readings. Changes f the prcess value larger than the adjusted bandwidth are nt filtered and will be transferred directly t the utput. INTEGRATOR Thermcuple as DC signals can be integrated with variable time cnstants. DIFFERENTIATOR Supplies the differential qutient f the input signal during a timed perid. Applicatin include the prvisin f a tendency r trend signal fr feed-frward cntrl, signaling f sudden changes in the prcess, etc. SAMPLE-AND-HOLD AMPLIFIER The sample-and-hld amplifier stres input signals which are nly present fr a shrt time. Typical applicatins are: strage f discntinuus set-values, and strage f signals in the case f a fault in the signal surce.
