3 London: World class talent and fast growth businesses The start to a great dialogue Message from your hosts EY was delighted to be a part of the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson s trade visit to the US, and proud to host an exclusive networking lunch and panel dialogue with the Mayor of London and US and British senior business leaders. Boris Johnson joined a thought-provoking discussion on Wednesday 11 February in New York, exploring why London is fast becoming the most attractive city for European expansion and international investment. The dialogue also covered investment in skills, access to capital markets and the global awareness of London as a creative hub for businesses looking to expand. We hope that this has encouraged ongoing networking, building on existing and new relationships, and exploring the attractiveness of London as a city for fast growth businesses. The Government recently announced a 100m pilot helping these companies that are scaling up. I ve got companies coming to me and saying the really exciting science and innovation that exists in London means that we want to set companies up here. Entrepreneurship the age is getting younger, ideas are getting better and businesses are growing faster.
