Tumbles Bear Crochet With Style Crochet Pattern Step-by-step instructions Lots of photos & tips to help you make your very own Tumbles Bear. Designed by Toni Marie. Crochet with Style #3 Free Crochet Pattern You can find our patterns in the following places: http://crochetwithstyle.com https://www.etsy.com/shop/tonimariedesignz

Here are the supplies I used to make Tumbles Bear (feel free to use your own colors, and types of yarns to make your own unique look) Size 8 crochet hook to crochet Tumbles Bear 2 Black beads for the eyes I used Punch Yarn (feel free to use any type of yarn you want to make different sizes) Colors I used for this pattern are: Brown Dark Brown embroidery floss for the nose and mouth Fiber for stuffing Red artist pencil for shading on the cheeks and ears (I use Prisma Pencils) Needle for sewing Tumbles Bear is about 1 inch tall, of course the size will change depending on the type of yarns, and hooks you use and how loose or tight you crochet. This pattern is worked in circles and ovals In continuous rounds instead of back and forth rows increase and decreases. Please Note: Do not join rounds.. We don t want to have seams. Mark the beginning of each round with a contrasting thread color.. Unless you are good at counting your stitches as you work.

Let s start with Tumble Bear s Cute Head/body Head/Body the hook. - This is chain 2 and 6 single crochets in the 2 nd chain from -This is what the head/body should look like. With Brown Round 1: Chain 2, 6 single crochets in the second chain from the hook (6 single crochets) Round 2: 2 single crochets in each single crochet around (12 single crochets) Round 3: *Single crochet in the next single crochet, 2 single crochets in the next single crochet* around (18 single crochets)

Round 4: *Single crochet in each of the next 2 single crochets, 2 single crochets in the next single crochet* around (24 single crochets) Round 5: *Single crochet in each of the next 3 single crochets, 2 single crochets in the next single crochet* around (30 single crochets) Round 6: *Single crochet in each of the next 4 single crochets, 2 single crochets in the next single crochet* around (36 single crochets) Rounds 7-13: Single crochet in each single crochet around (36 single crochets) Round 14: *Single crochet in each of the next 4 single crochets, single crochet the next 2 single crochets together* around (30 single crochets) Round 15: *Single crochet in each of the next 3 single crochets, single crochet the next 2 single crochets together* around (24 single crochets) Round 16: *Single crochet in each of the next 2 single crochets, single crochet the next 2 single crochets together* around (18 single crochets) Stuff Round 17: *Single crochet in the next single crochet, single crochet the next 2 single crochets together* around (12 single crochets) Fasten off; leave enough yarn to stitch opening closed (Check Tip at the bottom of pattern pages to close up the openings) Let s put Tumble Bear s cute face together The first thing we are going to do is add the nose and mouth. With 2 strands of dark brown embroidery floss, we are going to start with the nose.

Go across a few times between rows 12-13 (counting from the top of the head down) Now we are going to stitch on the cute mouth, Go up in the middle of the nose (just under the nose) and stitch a line between rows 13-14 (counting from the top of the head down) Now we are going to add the eyes, stitch beads on between rows 10-12 (counting from the top of the head down)

The last thing we need to do to is to add the ears and tail Ears (make 2) With Brown Chain 2, 6 single crochets in the 2 nd chain from the hook Fasten off, leave enough tail to stitch ears to the head onto row 3-6, counting from the top of the head You can now add some rosy cheeks with the red artist pencil, shade between rows

If you want you can shade a little inside the ears Tip To close up the openings of the head, body, arms, and legs: With your needle, weave in and out of the single crochets around the opening and pull tight, then you can stitch closed (depending on how tight you can get the opening to close, you can just knot and weave in) Now we are all finished
