INSTALLATION TOOLS REQUIRED Power Drill Drill Bits Tape Measure Pencil Spirit Level Hole Saws Screws Screw Driver Silicone Caulking Gun STEP 1, To help in the installation, label and remove the doors fronts and drawers (If removable), store them in a safe place where they will not get damaged. STEP 2, Check that the unit will fit into the location allowing for the top to overhang the unit 10mm on each side. On timber walls, mark the positions of the studs so to be able to fix the unit to these later. Measure and mark the hole centre of the water supply and waste outlet on the back and/or bottom of the unit. Check that the pipes will not interfere with the drawers. STEP 3, Use a slightly larger hole saw, drill the holes for the water supply and waste outlet. Position the unit into its correct place and check unit fits correctly. Re-drill if required. STEP 4, Re-attach door panels and drawers. Check that the unit is sitting level, and is not twisted and that the drawers and doors are not racked or out of alignment. Wedges can be used if required. (NOTE: Door hinges can be adjusted to help in the realignment) STEP 5, Drill holes and fix the back of the unit to the wall. Align holes with stud if fixing to a timber wall. If no studs are accessible a toggle type system is required (fixings not supplied). STEP 6, Once unit is fixed to the wall, re-check that the doors and drawers are aligned and working correctly. Please combine these 2 pages to ensure the appropriate installation steps are followed. STEP 1b, The recommended installation height to the top of the basin (front edge) is between 850-950mm off the finished floor. Extra timber supports are required in the wall if fixing this unit to a timber wall. (NOTE: A solid horizontal support in the wall just below the top of the unit is recommended) STEP 2b Position the unit against the wall (or an alternate wall) with additional support packers and check that the unit is sitting at the correct height and that it is level and is correctly positioned against the wall. Adjust if required and re-check pipe markings. (NOTE: Re-adjustment of the pipes maybe required if these are now exposed under base) STEP 5b, Position the fixing so the back panel is well supported. It is highly recommended 3-4x 75mm Coach Screws are used on a timber wall, and 3-4x 75mm Masonry Anchor on a solid wall. Cleaning and Maintenance IMPORTANT NOTICE This cabinet is made from water resistant board only (not water proof), so it is important that care is taken to clean up all water spillage. For personal and product safety, ensure that the HOT water supply is regulated to a maximum of 55 C. Daily Care: To protect the finish of your vanity, use a non-abrasive soap or liquid detergent to clean. Using an abrasive cleaner will dull the finish of your vanity top and cabinet and continued use may cause permanent damage to their finish. Staining: Do not use strong chemicals such as bleach or ammonia to clean your vanity. The finish on your vanity is highly resistant to staining by most household agents, but repeated exposure to strong chemicals may cause discoloration. Scratches and Dents: Your vanity top, although hard, can be scratched with a hard or sharp object. Most small surface scratches can be easily removed by applying a fine automotive rubbing compound and buffing. Deeper scratches may require sanding lightly with a 600+ grit wet sandpaper, followed by rubbing compound and automotive wax to restore the finish. Page 6
