Bluetooth Pairing Say goodbye to cord hassles with Bluetooth connectivity to a headset, car kit, or laptop. Great for hands-free talking or exchanging contacts and calendar events. 1. Set your Bluetooth accessory to pairing mode.* 2. Press and select Bluetooth (1). 3. Select Add New. Press if prompted to turn on Bluetooth, then press to search. The phone will now search for Bluetooth enabled devices (in pairing mode) within range. 4. Once the Bluetooth device has been found, highlight it and press. 5. Select Add to Trusted (1). 6. Enter the pin code (typically 0000 4 zeroes) and press to pair.* * Refer to the user manual of your Bluetooth accessory to activate pairing mode and for the pin code.
Sending All Contacts Send a name card to another Bluetooth capable device to quickly share or sync up your contacts. Sharing info has never been easier! 1. Press and select Contacts (6). 2. Select Send All Contacts (7). 3. If Bluetooth is off, select Yes (1). 4. Select a device (with object push profile) and press.
Sending a Calendar Event Share details about events on your schedule the easy way through Bluetooth. Transfer them to your own calendar or send them off to friends and associates. 1. Press left on the Navigation Key for Scheduler. 2. Highlight a date with a saved event and press the Right Soft Key for Options. 3. Scroll down to Send Calendar via Bluetooth (6) and press. 4. Select a device (with object push profile), and press to send.
SMS Voice Messaging Send a voice message to a mobile phone or e-mail address without making a call. Just record a note and send it instantly to one or more people. No chit chat. No interruption. To send an SMS voice message: 1. Press up on the Navigation Key for Messaging. 2. Select Send Message (1), then VoiceSMS (2). 3. Select From Contacts and press to choose each contact. Press the Left Soft Key when finished, then again for Next. 4. Record a voice message (up to two minutes). Press the Left Soft Key when done, then again to send. To retrieve SMS voice messages: 1. Press up on the Navigation Key for Messaging. 2. Select VoiceSMS (4) and press. 3. Select a message and press to listen.
Voice-Activated Dialing Call any name in your contacts with a touch of a button and a pre-recorded voice tag. It saves time and keeps your eyes on the road. 1. Press the Right Soft Key for Contacts. 2. Select a contact and press. 3. Select <Edit Entry> and press. 4. Highlight the phone number and press the Right Soft Key for Options. 5. Select Set Voice Dial (3), then press to record the contact name. Say the name twice when prompted. Note: To activate voice-activated dialing, press the Voice Services Key on the left side of the phone. (Pressing and holding the Voice Services Key will activate the voice memo recorder.)
