Each month we will offer the wonderful projects from Kim Diehl with every other month we will highlight the projects offered by the Kindred Spirits Club. With your paid membership fee of $40.00, you will receive the patterns for all projects. The club meets the third Thursday of each month, beginning January 18, 2018. We have a morning session that starts at 10:00 a.m. and an evening session that starts at 7:00 p.m. During the lecture meetings we highlight our new arrivals at the shop, demonstrate a quilting technique, introduce our quilt project of the month and our block of the month, complete with tips and tricks for our projects, and door prizes. Show and Share from our club members is always welcome and enjoyed. Club members will enjoy a 20% discount on their purchases the day of club. ALL ABOUT QUILTS Whatnot s & Kindreds Spirits Club Cont. The Kindred Spirits Club is a fun way for quilters to use their skills to make something new for themselves or to give as gifts. Every month for seven months, participants will receive a complete project kit that includes everything needed, featuring patterns and fabrics from our Kindred Spirits line. Backing for your project can be purchased with a 20% discount with club membership. In this years Kindred Spirits Club Sisters, there are six unique pattern designs to make a total of seven projects. One pattern is offered in two sizes. Month 1 : Flower Patch Runner 14 1/2" by 36 3/4" Kit cost: $18.00 Month 2: Small Town Fun 36" by 36" Kit cost: $50.00 Month 3 : Big Sister 30 1/2" by 30 1/2" Kit Cost: $24.50 Month 4: Little Sister 17 1/2" by 17 1/2" Kit Cost: $15.00 Month 5: Compelling Women. 57" by 66 1/2" Kit Cost: $136.50 Month 6: Family Reunion. 20" by 25 1/4" Kit Cost $29.00 Month 7: Meyer Messenger Bag 8 x 9 Kit Cost: $11.75 Total Cost for all 8 Kits: $284.75 Membership fee is $40.00 for the year and is due at time of registration. Kits do not include backing. Serger Fun Workshops This year our Serger workshops will allow you to work on your serger projects as well as helping our local charities. The first class, in March, we will be making Hot Dog styles pillow cases for the pillow case challenge. We will have fabric kits for you or you can bring your own fabric from your stash. July and September is a time for your to work on your projects as well as fun Serger projects. We will be there to help with questions, and techniques. November we will be making Christmas stocking for local children. PAGE 2 Four classes will be held in 2018: Class time is 6:30 p.m. Class fee : $40.00 Class space is limited. March 20th, Jun 5th, September 18th, and November 20th.

Border Basics Class - 8 class sessions This class will help you add more interest to your quilts with pieced borders. The class will explore 6 different border types adding them to a 12 ½ center square in a round robin style, pictured right. Each month you will learn the math, piecing, and pressing skills needed to make perfect pieced borders. Scalloped and addition border options will be demonstrated. After we have completed the quilt top we will work on quilting and binding your completed quilt top. Class dates are: February 13th, March 13th, April 3rd, May 15th, June 12th, August 14th, September 11th, and October 9th. Class times are 1:00 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. Class space is limited. Class fee is $40.00 Supply list available at time of registration. Finished size approx. 52 X 52 Free Motion Quilting Ruler Work Class Y E S, Y O U C A N Q U I L T W I T H R U L E R S O N A H O M E M A C H I N E! Ruler work on domestic machines, is rapidly growing in popularity. Don't let your lack of a longarm machine keep you from creating beautiful quilting! Join us in learning how to use specialty quilting rulers to easily achieve incredibly smooth lines, curves and motifs with your domestic sewing machine. After an overview of essential techniques, find out how to use straight quilting rulers to create versatile all-over quilting, dynamic crosshatching and more. Then, prepare for curves ahead as we guide you through using curved templates ruler strategies. In each of the 7 classes offered we will practice a different free motion ruler, making samples using the techniques outlined in Janet's Ruler Quilt Design Book. You can then apply what you have learned to your next quilt! Class dates are: February 27th, March 27th, April 24th, May 29th, August 28th, September 25th, and October 23rd. Class times are 1:00 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. Class fee is $275.00 for the 7 classes. The fee includes Ruler Work book and templates, fabric, batting, and quilting thread required for the class. The finished practice block sizes is 18. You will receive a 20% discount on additional supplies purchased from All About Quilts for class. Supplies for this class are listed below and are available at the shop. Sewing machine in good working order. Must be able to drop the feed dogs on you machine. ALL ABOUT QUILTS BEL CANTO BLOCK OF THE MONTH Colorway #1 Beginning in April 2018 Bel Canto means "beautiful singing" in Italian. This program will have your sewing machine singing an opera of its own! From Daniela Stout, this warm, inviting design comes together quickly by using strip sets to make the six different block sets, then finishing instructions and fabrics. In just seven short months, you have a kingsized quilt that will have you singing your own bel canto. It's bellissimo! The finished quilt measures 110" x 110. During this 7 month Block of the Month program, you will receive the patterns and fabrics needed to complete the quilt top including borders and binding. We are offer two colorway settings. Please specify, off white or gray, background setting desired when registering. Bel Canto will be held the last Saturday of each month, beginning April 28, 2018. Class time is 10:00 a.m. Class will be a lecture class, demonstrating the block tips and tricks as well as useful tools to complete the monthly blocks. Kit cost is $42.75 per month. This quilt book features a 12 unique wedge designs, each repeated twice, that make up a modern circular design. Included in the book are full-size foundation patterns and templates, paper-piecing instructions, a coloring sheet, and swatch sheet, Cadence Court finishes 60" x 60". You will need letter size foundation papers and an Add-A-Quarter ruler to make this quilt. Price will be $20.00 per month for 12 months. Cadence Court class will be held the second Saturday of each month beginning April 14, 2018 to March 9,2019. Lecture class time is 10:00. Each class will demonstrate the paper piece techniques needed to complete each wedge. Please specify white or black background when registering for Cadence Court.

MACHINE EMB ROI DERY CLUB Machine embroidery club is for anyone and everyone with an embroidery machine! All you need to bring is your machine, embroidery hoops, and embroidery supplies. We supply the project, design, and any special supplies needed. The project is a mystery for you, until you arrive! Monthly projects cover different hooping and machine embroidery techniques to help you get more out of your embroidery machine. Projects will include, In The Hoop project, quilting with your embroidery machine, fun gift projects, clothing embellishments, and continues embroidery. New this year, the Machine Embroidery Club will be decorating, and donating, a tree for the Festival Of Trees. The theme for the tree will be TOY LAND. We will be start the ornament designs in May, completing the tree decorations by September. Class space is limited. We will begin the club on February 1, 2018, with class times at 1:00 & 6:30. Class dates for 2018 are February 1st, March 8th, April 5th, May 3rd, June 7th, August 2nd, September 6th, October 4th, and November 8th. Class fee for each class is $25.00. HOOPSISTERS - Sisterhood - Block of the Month Workshops 2018 is the 10 Year Anniversary of Hoopsisters! In honor of this anniversary they have designed this stunning Embroidery Block of the Month for 2018, titled "Sisterhood". This beautiful, 2 color quilts, can be made with 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9 blocks. This is a quilt as you go project. Fabric requirements will be available at time of registration. Please state which size blocks you will be making when registering. The two day workshops will be: March 9th & 10th April 20th & 21st May 4th & 5th June 15th & 16th September 21st & 22nd Cost for embroidery design is $50.00 for the 5 workshop sessions. Class fee is $50.00 for the 5 sessions which include printed instructions for the quilt. You do not have to participate in the workshops to receive the quilt designs and instructions. A 20% discount is offered for fabric, thread, and Battilizer stabilizer. HOOPSISTERS - Char med Adventure Completion Workshop We will be holding a Charmed Adventure Completion Workshop for those who participated in our Hoopsister s Charmed Adventure Block of the Month. The date for the workshop is January 26th and 27th. Please let me know if you plan to attend.

Ber nina V8.1 Software Class Bernina V8.1 Software class will be held the THIRD Thursday of all odd numbered months (i.e. January, March, May, etc.) There is no class in July. Class time is 1:00 p.m. Please bring your computer to class. We will be following the Software Sampler program offered by Bernina. Class Fee: $50.00 for the year. Janome V5 Software Class Class will cover all the and exciting features of the Janome V5 software. Janome Digitizer class will be held the last Thursday of all even numbered months (i.e. February, April, June, etc.) There is no class in December. Please bring your computer to class. Class time is 1:00 p.m. Class Fee $50.00 for the year. Wool Wednesday Club This club is just for fun! Bring your wool project and stitch with friends. Club meets the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. There is no class fee. 5th SATURDAY BAG AND DEMO DAY Throughout 2018, on the 5th Saturday of the month, we have our Bag Sale. The fun day offers 20% off all fabric, kits, books, and patterns. Customers are asked to bring their own bags to fill on that day.
