fischer DUOTEC. The intelligent combination for high loads in gypsum plasterboard. Due to its unique shape, the harder red component of the toggle element, distributes high loads across the entire supporting surface. The grey, soft component, also supports this process. It spreads evenly against the panel surface preventing the toggle from digging into the face and weakening the gypsum plasterboard. Red-grey 2-component DUOTEC toggle element, made from glass fibre reinforced plastics for high tensile loads in all panel construction materials. Additional screw position for nonfolded function as expansion plug. The white, glass-fibre reinforced flange sleeve slides into the drill hole allowing for higher shear loads. Two metal plates, made from stainless steel, form the flexible screw attachment and facilitate the use of different screws, hooks and threaded rods. Screw position for function as toggle fixing. Anti rotation notches prevent rotation in the drill hole. Grip strap with molded in teeth for adjusting and presetting the toggle element and flange sleeve. The excess can easily be removed without special tools. The curved grip allows the installer to feel for obstructions (e.g. substructure, cables, pipes, etc.) prior to installation in the cavity. Your benefits at a glance: The small drill hole diameter allows installation with a standard 10 mm drill The short toggle element (39 mm) simplifies installation, even in narrow and insulated cavities ( 50 mm) If the drill hole hits solid construction, it is no problem, simply carry on as the DUOTEC acts as an expansion plug The toggle element, made from a combination of glass-fibre reinforced plastics (hard/soft) causes a considerably higher load-bearing capacity and load distribution in panel construction materials compared to standard plastic solutions, without damaging the gypsum plasterboard The white flange sleeve made from glass-fibre reinforced plastic increases the shear load-bearing capacity, thereby ensuring additional security The flexible, stainless steel screw attachment (stainless steel A2) facilitates the use of chipboard screws or metric and threaded rods with lock nuts in different diameters
