There is an adorable new bunny baby quilt hanging in the childrens area. The kit even contains patterns for a couple of toys that can be made with the scraps from the quilt! Kits for baby throws in cuddle, gauze, flannel, and combinations of these fabrics are available. We even have a few already made for you! We have cuddle and fur combo kits that are 60 x 60 easy to sew and perfect for gifts. For the Bison fans, we have green and gold cuddle fabrics, picture frames, and signs. For all other sports fans, we have strip packs in most team colors ready for you to sew into a quilt for the fan in your life. While we ve sold out of some of our holiday quilts, new kits are replacing them. The shop is full of new items! Lots of new fabrics have been coming in... Tula Pink s Spirit Animals ', Kimberbells Sprinkle Sunshine, and Maker s Home by Windham to name a few. Floriani has discontinued 30 colors of polyester thread and added 30 new colors. The new colors can be purchased separately or as a boxed set for $99.99. There are new rulers from Missouri Star and Creative Grids including the Pineapple Trim Tool featured at this month s Learn to Use Class. Snippets from Sandy the club now, so come in during the month of November to see a trunk show of all the bags. Signing up for the club will give you special perks. If you only want to make a few of them, that works also. Our 12 weeks of Christmas classes continue this month and there s still time to sign up for each week s class. We will be open regular hours for Black Friday and Small Business Saturday. Watch your email and Facebook for the specials these days. Baby Lock has many promotions this month and Viking machines will be 30% off all month. We will be adding some additional giveaways with machine purchases. Save the Date for our Year of Savings Sale on Saturday, December 2. We will open the doors at 9 am. The day will be filled with Red Door specials and reveals of next years BOM. Of course, our coupon book will be handed out. You must be present to get the book; no one can pick it up for you. The new twist is that books will be available all day. Prior to December 2 our Red Door specials and times will be announced. Scissor sharpening is available again! The cost is $3 per pair of scissors. You can drop scissors off at any time, but sharpening will only be done on Tuesdays. In January we will be starting The Travel Bag Club with patterns from byannie.com. But we want to give you a sneak peak of Happy Stitching!
Quilt It Moda Candies Runner Class Love the Moda mini charms, but not sure what to do with them? This runner is the perfect way to show them off. Start with a pack of charms and background fabric to create any size or shape of runner you need. Make a new one for every season. Purchase of the book Layers of Love is required for class. Kits available or we will help you pick out fabric. Basic sewing supplies, rotary cutter, mat and ruler needed for class. Class fee $15.00 plus supplies Saturday, November 11: Noon-3 pm Which Way Topper Which Way Topper is a quilt as you go table topper with great dimensions from prairie points. You don't have to be a member of the Fast & Furious Club to join this class. Kits will be available or you can choose your own fabrics. Supply list available upon registration. BYOM or sign up for one of ours. You will also need basic sewing supplies. Class fee is $15.00 Thursday, November 9: 1-4 pm or 5-8 pm Sewing Machine Classes Explore Your Sewing Machine Explore the features and stitches of your new sewing machine. You will stitch samples, learn the functions of your machine, and basic cleaning. Open to Baby Lock, Brother, and Viking owners. No charge for machines purchased at Rae-Bon; $50.00 for others. Private classes on other brands may be available at a $75.00 charge; call the shop for details. Bring your machine, accessory feet, foot control, power cord, spool of thread, and bobbin. Youth Sewing Jewelry Roll This quilted Jewelry Roll is a great travel accessory or just a safe place to keep your jewelry. Plastic canvas keeps your earrings from getting lost, a Velcro tab with pocket keeps necklaces from tangling, and a pocket for bracelets and watches. Folds in thirds and ties closed, ready to throw in your suitcase, backpack, or drawer. Hope to see you the 3rd Saturday of every month to learn new sewing skills and meet new friends. Class fee of $20 includes all materials needed to make this project. A Baby Lock Katherine will be available for your use. Parents, Grandparents, or adult friends are welcome to come assist their budding sewer. Saturday, November 18: 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm Learn to Use... Pineapple Trim Tool Creative Grids Pineapple Trim Tool allows you to square up the block as each round of strips are added resulting in perfectly square blocks. Join Carl and play with this ruler. Bring your sewing machine or request one of ours, thread, rotary cutting equipment and basic sewing supplies. Class fee of $15 includes practice fabric. Monday, November 20: 2-4 pm Let s Get Organized Catch All Caddy This over-sized, sturdy caddy has lots of easy-to-access slip pockets and dividers to hold and organize all your supplies. You ll be thrilled to learn how to make bellowed inner dividers. Their ingenious design allows the interior fabric dividers to be fully expandable yet to also be able to fall flat against the caddy when not in use. This project also introduces a new style of handles which are padded with Soft and Stable and attached to the caddy using rectangle rings. You will test your binding skills as you sew the binding on the bulky bottoms and curved edges and make the "grab" handles on the end. But you're an expert, so it's no problem! Demo & Dessert We ll provide a tasty snack while you learn about new products, machines, or fabrics that have arrived in the past month. Receive a 10% discount on any new items highlighted that day. Tuesday, November 21: 1:00 pm or 6:00 pm Kimberbell Embroidery Club The third project in the Kimberbell Embroidery Club is a whimscial flower cinch bag. This is a demo class only; no embroidery machines needed. Bring your jump drive back this month to receive the next project. Even though we re on month three, you can still sign up and receive the past project. $72.00 for 6 months; September thru February. Class held the second Friday of each month at 11 and 6. Friday, November 10: 11:00 am or 6:00 pm Monthly Gatherings Please call to pre-register Fast & Furious Club Join the quilt as you go fun! This nine month club includes a new pattern each month plus a bonus pattern! Club participants get 15% off each month s kit. The nine month club is $50. On the second Thursday of each month from 1-4 pm or 5-8 pm, we ll also offer a class. Sign up for the classes are separate from the club. If you register for all 9 classes, you only pay for 7! Optional class is Thursday, November 9: 1-4 pm or 5-8 pm FUNdamentals of Paper Piecing Each month on the first Thursday, Joan will guide you through the basics of paper piecing. This is the easiest piecing method to achieve accurate results even for the finest details. Add prairie points, trims and other embellishments to create a work of art. The book Little Gems and the Add a Quarter Ruler must be brought to class. The class fee of $15.00 includes pattern copied on foundation paper ready to stitch. Sewing machine and basic sewing supplies required. Purchase the kit or bring your own fabric. In November, we ll be working on the Basket Weave Table Topper. Thursday, November 2: 6:00-8:00 pm Let s Get Organized: Bag of the Month Demo This demo class is included for anyone in the Let s Get Organized Club. Each month Sheri will share tips and tricks for completing that month s pattern. November will focus on the Catch All Caddy. Saturday, November 4: 10:30 am 4

The classroom will be available on Mondays (5-8 pm) & Fridays (11 am-5 pm) to work on the project of the week. Sign up for anytime during those hours and an instructor will be there to help you with each project. Most projects will take an 1 1/2 hours or less. We will be using the book Simple, Fun & Quickly Done by Terry Atkinson. Purchase of the book is required. Each class is $5.00. Kits will be available. Many projects are fat quarter friendly.
