He spent five years at the ISET Gafsa, Tunisia, as a technologic assistant and researcher before joining the faculty of Science of Gafsa, Tunisia, as Assistant. He joined the Higher Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology, Gafsa University, where he is currently an assistant professor in the Department of computer science. He was a member of the REsearch Group on Intelligent Machines (REGIM). His research interests include Computer Vision and Image and video analysis. These research activities are centered on Wavelets and Wavelet networks and their applications to data Classification and approximation, Pattern Recognition and image and video coding, indexing and watermarking. He is a junior member of IEEE. He was in the technical program committee of the NGNS 2011 conference. He was the chair of oral session on QoS and performance evaluations in the NGNS 2011 conference. He was the chair of Homologation test of Robot s Participants of 2nd Int. Robotics Competition 2011. He was in the scientific committee of the WIMTA 2005 conference. He was in the scientific committee of the WIMTA 2004 conference. He was the program committee of the Matlab Winter School 2004. 1
