2 Material: crochet hook size 2.5 Catania wool from Schachenmayr in shades of green and white fiberfill safety eyes 9 mm sewing needle Size: The frog Carla is about 12 cm tall (4,72 inches) Abbreviations: ch - chain st - stitch R - round sc single crochet Number x sc the number tells you how many times you make a single crochet (or a dc, hdc ) in each stitch inc - make two single crochet in one stitch dec - two stitches crochet together with a sc rep - repeat until end of round sl st - slip stitch sc with color change: change the color on this sc (when you make this single crochet stitch, grab the new color of your wool and pull it through the two loops on your hook). Note: Unless indicated otherwise, the parts for Carla are worked in rounds. You can start with 2 ch or make a magic ring. Make the arms and legs before you start with the body, because they are crocheted to the body. The rows should be marked with a thread. Don t remove the thread marks on the legs, you need them for orientation when you crochet the legs to the body.

3 Legs (2 x) 5 ch in color white R 01 inc in second ch from hook, 2 x sc, 3sc in one stitch, continue working on the other side of the chain: 3 x sc, see drawing 10 R 02 2 x inc, 2 x sc, 3 x inc, 2 x sc, inc 16 R 03 sc in each stitch 16 R 04 5 x sc, 5 x dec, sc 11 R 05 4 x sc, 3 x dec, sc 8 R 06 sc with color change to green, 4 x sc, dec, sc, stuff the foot 7 R 07 R 11 sc in each stitch 7 sl st, cut the thread. Don t stuff the legs. Leave the thread marks inside the legs, you need them later for orientation, when you crochet the legs to the body. Where to start on the leg: count back three stitches from your thread mark (see picture), hold the leg to the body and crochet the stitches of the leg and the body together. The legs were crocheted to the body. 7 Finishing Insert the safety eyes through the white part of the eye and then a little bit to the side of the green eye. Stuff the eyes with fiberfill. Then pin the eyes to the head and sew them.
