Later this year, on November 9 th, our County is taking part in the Lord Mayor s Show in London. The theme for the Lord Mayor s Show this year is The Energy of Life and we have a float that our County has designed that will take part in the procession with members from our County both on the float and walking alongside it. This resource has been designed for you to use with your unit to learn a little more about the Lord Mayor s Show. You can use it in whatever way you want; you can run a series of meetings on it, or just one meeting. It is divided into three sections entitled: London Energy of Life The Lord Mayor of London If there is an (R) next to the activity then there is something in the resource pack that corresponds to the activity. We have included activities that are suitable for all sections, so you can choose with your unit which ones you would like to do. You do not have to complete this resource to get the Lord Mayor s Show badge, but you can if you wish. Badges are still available to order until the 15 th July.
