Modular Devices Indicators and Push Buttons The new range of indicator lights and push buttons replaces and expands upon the whole SV range and is composed of the following three families Indicator Lights in various colours such as red, green, orange, blue and clear. Push Buttons in various contact types (NO, NC, NO+NC in or 2 poles) and buttons (latching or impulse). Indicator Lights and Push Buttons, an association of the above two solutions. New LED technology provides longer life. Updated and modernised appearance. Integrated label holder. 352

Latching relays Description For the control of lighting circuits in private buildings, small industry buildings and administration buildings. Latching relays operate when impulsed by a signal voltage. The impulse can be provided via a pushbutton or switch. The first pulse operates the relay and latches it into its set (opposite) state, the next operation of the pushbutton returns the relay into its reset (original) state. The latching relays are built to add on optionally the following auxiliaries : an auxiliary for centralised ON/OFF control EPN050 an auxiliary contact for remote signalling EPN05 an auxiliary for multi levelled centralised control EPN052 an auxiliary for control by maintained contact EPN053. Connection capacity 0 rigid cables 6 flexible cables Conform to standard EN669 and EN66922 For technical details see page 390 Designation Type Coil Coil Power Width in I Pack Cat. Latching relays auxiliaries Auxiliaries for centralised control The EPN050 allows the centralised control of several light sources which can be turned on or off simultaneously the separate switching by pushing the pushbuttons, which are connected with the latching relay, remains possible. The EPN052 allows a generic central control of individual central on/off EPN050 Auxiliary contact A remote signalling can be realised with the auxiliary contact EPN05. Auxiliary for control by maintained contact When control devices with permanent impulse are externally driven, e.g. time switches or limit switches, an impulse control directly to the latching relay s coil is possible with the auxiliary contact EP 053. Connection latching relay + auxiliary Several auxiliaries can be combined with the latching relay. Relays Description To provide command of low power circuits max 6A; associated with pushbuttons switches, time switches etc to provide for remote control applications. For the command of high power circuits (25, 40, 63Amps) use contactors as shown on page 357. The relays will accept an auxiliary contact for remote signalling applications.(ep07) For the command of VLV circuits use interface relays EN45 and EN46. Contactors and override contactors Description Contactors For the remote switching and control of power circuits (25A63A AC) Override contactors allows : permanent ON permanent OFF Technical data The choice of contactor depends upon a number of parameters, e.g. the nature of the supply. the power it is switching. the characteristics of the load. the control voltage required. number of operations All contactors ratings are for AC loads only if the load differs from AC the contactor may need derating The use of LZ 060 (heat dissipation inserts) between all contactors installed or between contactors and adjacent devices is recommended. Options Contact choice normally open (NO) normally closed (NC) LZ 060 heat dissipation inserts. Auxiliary 25A contactors will accept auxiliary, EP 07 contact. Comfortable energy saving with the presence detectors For the control or the regulation of lighting depending on presence and natural light The new Hager presence detectors with double lens technique are adapted to all architectural requirements. Whether for the regulation of the light depending on occupancy or simply to switch on the lights depending on presence and ambient luminosity, the Hager presence detectors offer the necessary flexibility for each application. Ventilation, ambient temperature or alarms can also be piloted exclusively by the detection of a movement thanks to the second channel. A pushbutton connected on the override entry makes it for example possible to cut the light or reduce it to the wished level during a presentation. Modular devices An exciting technique The patented double lens technique ensures a very precise detection on 360 of a person moving on an area up to 3 x 7 m. The integrated luxmeter makes it also possible to differentiate the proportion of natural and artificial light. Rotating and adaptable According to the architectural constraints, the detection zone can be adjusted with precision thanks to the rotation of lens on 90. Override The command entry on the 2 channel presence detector (EE8) and on the presence regulator (EE82) allows the commutation of a lighting circuit (for example via a pushbutton). This facility is ideal for presentations during which the room must completely or partially darkened. When not more presence is detected the module will return to the automatic mode after the preselected time delay. Manual dimming is also possible via the same command entry on the presence regulator. Regulation with constant lighting : nearly a must in all openplan offices. The presence regulator (EE82) adapts the artificial light depending on natural light and presence. The light intensity constantly remains fixed according to the preselected set point. An effective and pleasant lighting can be carried out easily and quickly with electronic regulators or the Hager 000W dimmer. released after 5 minutes for the EE82 model. Master and slave : evolutionary for wide control The presence detectors can be connected between them for corridors or large premises. The Slave module will for example detect a presence, inform the Master module which then commands the light depending on luminosity, override and duration of lighting. Benefits : Models with or 2 channels Regulators of presence / light Detection zone of 360 on 3 x 7 m Override entry or manual dimming Natural and artificial light measuring Wide setting possibilities Basic lighting mode on presence regulators EE82 Master/Slave function Settings : lighting, time delay and manual dimming. Adjustable from 5 to 200 Lux, the lighting/variation can also be setted manually via the command entry on the presence regulator. The time delay of the lighting and presence channel can be selected individually from 30 seconds to hour. Basic lighting mode : for safety in hotels, homes, hospitals and corridors. The detector will switch on the lighting channel in case of presence. The time delay begins once no more presence is detected. The light will then be reduced to the selected value between 0 and 50%, then comprehensive settings rectangular capture zone natural and artificial light measure rotating front lens 365

Current transformers (C.T.) Description : Current transformers are used to feed analogue and digital ammeters. As well as kwh meters. Their current on secondary circuit (05A) is proportional to the current on primary circuit class : can be mounted on copper bar or on cable can be mounted on DIN rail with adaptors For technical details, see page 424 Designation Characteristics Width in I Pack Cat. 7.5mm qty. ref. Kilowatt hours meters and hours counter... 57 4 45 Description Kilowatt hours meters measure the active energy used in an electric installation. The range includes meters with pulsed output for remote indication or linking into an energy management system. Kwh meters can be used for local metering of installation or monitoring of power consumption in individual machines. Technical data In accordance to IEC036, with pulse output 00Wh/pulse (except EC0 and EC050) all meters offer part (resettable) counter and total (non resettable) counter (except EC0, EC050 and EC05) display with LCD accuracy : class II (EC050 and EC05 class I) for CT (current transformers), see page 385 For technical details, see pages 426 Designation Characteristics Width in I Pack Cat. 7.5mm qty. ref. Control relays... Control relays are used in installations where the current or the voltage fluctuation may damage equipments. The range is composed of modular devices : Voltage control relays dedicated to protect air conditioning equipments : EU 00, EU 0 single phase EU 30 three phase Voltage control relay used to survey DC or AC voltage : EU 02 single phase product to monitor DC or AC EU 302 three phase control relay used to check AC voltage Current control relay used to survey DC or AC current : EU 03 single phase product to monitor DC or AC current direct via current transformer Phase control relay EU 300 to verify phase parameters (asymmetry, loss of phase, undervoltage) The two digital control relays EU 02 and EU 03 are equipped with an LCD indicator. During normal operation, the LCD displays the measured voltage (EU 02) or current (EU 03). The LCD and the local pushbuttons are also used to enter the parameter settings (type of signal, monitored levels,...) In case of an error, the relay will close a contact (changeover contact 8A) For technical information see page 429 Designation characteristics Width in I Pack Cat. 7.5mm qty. ref.
