We Believe in: Using the power of art to heal, inspire, provoke, challenge, offer hope and MOST of all, to connect - to remind us of our common humanity. Lifting spirits with the spaces we help create. Our environment has a profound effect on our well-being and quality of life. The collaborative approach to selecting art. We provide innovative and creative ways for people to discover, share, and experience art. The value of art and branding in our work spaces. Art is not a commodity. Art is not an afterthought. It is the soul of a space. Your voice. We are art experts but our job is to help ensure your vision becomes reality. Our staff. Every employee is encouraged to fully commit to growing the company, as well as themselves. Our employees strive to fulfill their goals and dreams personally and professionally, and we as a company strive to support those efforts. Having integrity and doing what is right at all times. Artists. We are committed to discovering, empowering and supporting artists as contributors to a higher aesthetic. Opportunities. Every customer is the most important customer. Every day is the day something amazing will happen. Finding unique, creative, fun, and unexpected ways to exceed not only our client s expectations, but also our own. 3

Executive Summary We are excited to present the unique qualifications of the team we have assembled which we feel offers the best range of experience, qualifications, skill sets and value for your project. Great American Art believes in the power of art. In healthcare and senior living, studies have shown that certain art can help patients handle their pain, fear and stress and improve patient well-being. Well-chosen art can also have a positive effect on staff and visitors. In all environments, art and branding are vital in communicating your company vision and mission and in setting the tone for your facility. This belief underlies our design philosophy. A well-designed art program is a combination of colors, forms, themes and media exceeding the expectations of all involved. This is no small task; selecting, procuring, manufacturing, delivering and installing a project of this size requires a skilled team. There are hundreds of thousands of artists, millions of images, deadlines, budgets and multiple stakeholders that must be consulted in completing any project. Most art projects require an experienced team, each bringing it s own unique skill set to form a cohesive unit whose sum is greater than its parts. 4

Executive Summary Great American Art works with local dealers, forming a team, combining decades of experience in project management, art consulting, art procurement, art manufacturing and art installation. We firmly believe in the advantages of partnering with servicing dealers on projects, as the benefits to the customer are numerous, including: - A local presence with in-depth knowledge and experience working in your market - Experience working across all types of facilities and multiple locations We are well versed in the values, quality, and service that you expect from your art vendor. - Local facilities/resources including labor, vehicles, storage space and warehousing Given their experience providing a full range of art solutions in your area as well as nationwide, your local dealer is uniquely able to manage your art program and serve as a local point of contact. Havingthis resource allows Great American s art consultants and in house designers to focus their creativity on discovering unique and exciting art, ultimately resulting in selections that exceed expectations. 5

About Us It s not easy to select a piece of art that will have a positive impact on everyone. But it is possible and, to our way of thinking, essential. What s required is a full-service team totally dedicated to understanding you your business and your clients. Art is, after all, personal. A one-on-one experience. At Great American Art, our more than 35 years of experience as an art seller, consultant, designer and manufacturer has taught us how to harness the personal and transformational power of art in unique ways. Our business process is a two-way street. We listen. We collaborate. We custom design. We facilitate consensus. Our collaborative design tools and methodologies enhance project outcome by making sure that each contribution to the final product adds value. As a result, you can be certain that the art we recommend is perfect for your setting, and that it elicits precisely the feeling you desire. 6

About Us You can also be sure that you ll be getting an exceptional value, due in large part to our vast library of images and array of innovative art mediums, our intuitive online tools which streamline what would otherwise be a time-consuming process, plus our on-site consultation and free art design services. All of it delivered seamlessly through our exclusive partnership with a local dealer whom you already know and trust. Art can be intimidating. It is far more intimidating still to be placed in a position of responsibility for selecting art that conveys the right attitude for your clients or patients, that extends your brand brilliantly, that in the end impacts your bottom line. The solution? Look to Great American Art for an aesthetic result that s integral to your vision and no mere afterthought. 7

Our Process Great Amercian has a library of: - 5,000,000+ Fine Art Photographs - Every fine art print in published form - Thousands of local artists - Original works, Sculpture Art and Multi-Medium Art from artists around the country As art consultants, our job is to ask you questions that help us know your vision, process and budget so that we can present you with art or branding art that wows you! The process begins with initial meetings showing you different options of art, from prints to originals, and listening to feedback. If we have an approved art budget for the entire job at this point, we come to this meeting with documentation onour suggestions for how this money would be allocated to each area. Once we have consensus on direction, we begin pulling images for approval. Depending on the amount of collaboration desired, we will either select the images we feel would work best or present you with many options for you to select from. 8

Our Process Discover Collaborate All approved selections are placed in a project online, as well as on the floorplans and on the documentation shared with you for each area. Both the floorplan and our shared documentation allow you to see at any point exactly what has been approved and for how much. This detailed documentation allows you to follow the project from beginning to end and know at any moment exactly where you are in the process. Design Transform Create 9

Our Process DISCOVERY It begins with Discovery. What are your goals for your art program? What are your company values? Who are your customers? What tone do you want to set for your staff? We want to know as much about you and your space as we can. We ll ask for floorplans and color boards. We ll tour your space if needed. We ll ask you questions about your budget. We need this information to know the right art to show you there is quite a price difference from originals to fine art prints and everything in between. We are expert art consultants but this is your spaceand we need it to reflect your voice. So talk to us! COLLABORATION The fun begins! Selecting the right art for a facility is FUN! We collaborate through our interactive website. We ll start a project for you that you can share with as many people as you want. We ll mark up your art plan with art locations for your feedback. We ll lay out a proposed budget based on the locations on the floorplan, showing what type of art in each area, quantity and price. We ll select different images and a range of substrates to start the discussion. We ll send you a link and ask for your feedback. Let us know what you like or don t like. 10

Our Process DESIGN With your collaboration, we know your budget, your locations for art or branding, your favorite selections and we now move into the design process. We ll finalize the types of art and selections, lay it out on your floorplan, put in all in your web project and generate a proposal which you can share with all stakeholders. Our proposals include: Information on Great American and your team of designer and dealer Why we choose the images proposed The effect we see occurring from the art/branding All proposed images on their respective substrates Floorplan showing the art as it would be installed throughout the facility Quote for all finished artwork including installation if needed CREATE Once you have issued a purchase order, we start the manufacturing process: All art is procured Each type of substrate is produced with the highest care and training All finished product is carefully packaged All finished product is shipped to be installed All art is installed according to the install plans 11

Our Process TRANSFORM Your art/branding is in and your space has a new feel. Art gives your space its soul. It s your communication with or without words. We believe in using the power of art to heal, inspire, provoke, challenge, offer hope and MOST of all, to connect to remind us of our common humanity. We don t stop until you feel the WOW! 12

Project Experience #1 Client: Cass Medical Spring 2011 Description of the Work Performed Cass Medical wanted local photography for their new facility. There were five regions that made up this hospital and it was important for the executive team that each region be included throughout the facility. Great American had its in house photographer spend five days in Missouri, taking shots of local landmarks and local landscapes. Supplementing these local scenes, Great American designed the rest of the space with calming, soothing images applying evidence-based design principles for art. The CEO was thrilled with the end result especially as he toured groups around the hospital and they were so excited to see beautiful landscapes of their areas. 19

Project Experience #2 Client: Virtua Health December 2010-April 2011 Description of the Work Performed Great American selected and installed over 1000 pieces of art for Virtua Vorhees, including over 300 pieces of local art. It was important to the CEO and the Art Committeee that we had used evidence-based design principles for art in making the selections and that we worked with the Virtua Group to ensure their design intent was carried out. We also met with the architectural team to understand and implement their vision for the art. The Wall of Hope in the NICU provides comfort and hope for families in a difficult situation. Many substrates were used including original art, canvas, framed art and sculpture art. 20

Project Experience #3 Client: Signature Health--Hawthorne Medical Fall 2014 Description of the Work Performed Working with the CEO and department heads, Great American was asked to select over 350 pieces of art that speaks to the mission of this healthcare system and crystallize their vision into reality. The major theme of the design was local photography and local artists, with contemporary limited edition pieces for the lobbies. Each department had its own unique vision: Pediatrics: Images of kids playing, running on the beach, etc. OB: Images of mother & child from all over the world Women s Area: Bright, bold canvas images of flowers Family Practice, Radiology & Urgent Care: Local, familiar, bold landscapes Despite the multiple visions, we incorporated and coalesced each voice into an unified whole with our design, our framing and installation, which we believe is an art form in and of itself. 21

Project Experience #4 Client: Florida Hospital November 2013-March 2014 Description of the Work Performed In March 2014, Great American Art selected and installed over 150 prints for Florida Hospital s new emergency department and intensive care unit floors in Tampa. In addition to the artwork selections, we also supplied a custom designed patient/white board to the end-users specifications. All images were based off of the evidence-based design concept of calming, soothing images to promote well being and to assist in the healing process. We used various substrates including framed art, acrylics and canvas art throughout the hospital. 22

Project Experience #5 Client: Key Bank June 2014-Present Description of the Work Performed With over 1000 branch locations across the country, Great American Art was contracted for all of Key Bank s art needs. They have a corporate art standards program that we helped to build with Key Bank executives. Working with KeyBank s architects, interior designers, and site supervisors, each project is provided a comprehensive selection of artwork that satisfies the look and budget for each location. Key Bank relies on Great American to meet their budget and project deadlines in furnishing and installing artwork throughout the country. 23
