Product sheet MOD Type BAC-IO9 BAC-IO9 BACnet MS/TP Input / Output Modules, Wall Mounted BAC-IO9 and BAC-IO9-AI have been designed to be a compact wall mounted BACnet MS/TP input and output modules. The module has 2 volt-free digital inputs for measurements e.g. for windows, occupancy sensors and so on. The module has 2 digital outputs, Vac triacs switching the plant items on/off. The IO9 modules has 2 inputs for measuring NTC0 temperature, resistive measurements (e.g. light level) or volt-free on/off signals. The IO9-AI models have 2 inputs for measuring 0..0Vdc signals. The three analogue 0..0Vdc outputs complete the compact IO-modules. With the analogue outputs it is possible to control zone valves and other modulating plant equipment. The modules support BACnet MS/TP communications with most commonly used baud rates and parity settings. The module also supports BACnet device and object discovery allowing fast and efficient programming. The pulse count is stored in a dedicated register and can be read over the network. It is possible to write to this register to reset the value. PS SN.4-2/
Universal NTC0/ esistive/digital Inputs (BAC-IO9) Analogue Inputs (BAC-IO9-AI) Setting Up BACnet Address and Baud ate NOTE: The pulse count value is not battery backed, and therefore the network master is required to manage the data synchronisation in case of power failure. The universal inputs can be configured to operate as NCT0/Digital Volt-Free inputs or esistive Inputs. As default the inputs are configured as NTC0/Digital Volt-Free. The maximum measurement range is -0 C to 00 C (-40 F to 22 F). The NTC0/resistive configuration is changed via the Configuration Software using the USB to IO-Module cable. The digital volt-free mode is automatically activated, and a separate BACnet Binary Input objects are available to read the status. The BAC-IO9-AI has 2 x 0..0Vdc inputs. The current status can be read over the BACnet communication network. The BACnet address and the baud rate is normally set through the bit switch. It is also possible to set the address and baud rate over the configuration tool or over the BACnet communication network. NOTE: The new settings are activated automatically after approx 5 seconds if the bit switch positions have not been moved. In this case the controller reset is applied to activate the new settings. SETTING TANSMITTE BAUD ATE BAUD ATE BAUD ATE BIT SWITCH 7600 3400 Network Address Bit ate Bit ate 2 BAUD ATE 9200 BAUD ATE 9600 / NETWOK SETTING TANSMITTE BACNET MAC ID The BACnet MAC ID is set by using bith switches BIT SWITCH to 6 using binary decoding. Each bitswitch represents the binary value and the address is set by the combination of bit switches. Few examples: Network Address Bit ate Bit ate 2 BACNET MAC ID 2 BACNET MAC ID 9 Note: When the baud rate set 9600 via the bit switch it is possible to configure the baud rate via network / tool. Note: To activate the change the transmitter requires power cycle, or software reset via the tool. Note: If all address bit switches are set, then the BACnet ID can be set over the BACnet or through configuration tool.
