Central Iowa Camera Club Volume 42 Greetings fellow CICC photographers! We are entering the home stretch of the 2016-2017 Central Iowa Camera Club year. We have celebrated GREAT photography, new ideas for becoming better at the art & craft of making images as well as an HISTORICAL MILESTONE in our club history! THANK YOU, TIM MCMAHON! As always, your May program on Managing Photographic Exposure was interesting and instructive. The CICC is grateful that you are willing (year-after-year) to share your insightful expertise with us. You always give new ways for us to look at improving our images. NEXT MEETING: THURSDAY, JUNE 1 The subject for the June contest photos is PHOTOS MADE THROUGH A WIN- DOW OR A DOOR FRAME. This contest will provide an opportunity for CICC photographers to be creative in capturing images framed by a window or door. These images may be taken from indoors looking outward or images looking indoors from outside. Judges for the June contest are: Danny Barker, Mary Giese, and Dianna Mick. Please review contest rules in the program book. If you are unable to judge the contest, please secure a replacement before the contest. Scoring table team members are: Linda Svec, Kay Aiken, and Teresa Vokoun. CONTEST REMINDER! Each CICC member may enter ONLY FIVE prints and/or digital images. Members are limited to ONLY TWO images per class: color print, black & white print, and/or digital color, black & white image for a TOTAL OF FIVE IMAGES! JUNE BOARD MEETING The CICC Board will meet at 7:00 on Thursday, June 8. New officers are invited to join present board members for this joint meeting. We will be planning for the 2017-2018 club year. CICC members, please be thinking about photographic topics you would like discussed in club programs that you would like to learn more about. Looking forward to more photographic energy and creativity next year!
