Royal Mahogany Entry Door Systems Royal Mahogany also offers matching mahogany and American red oak frame components making the entry system complete. The richness of a entry way with common hardwood throughout, welcomes guests into the home with warmth and elegance. Both mahogany and American red oak are available unfinished or prefinished. Other standard entry system features include: adjustable sill, compression weather-stripping, continuous head & sill, and ball bearing hinges. Hinges are available in either brass or antique nickel and sills are offered in a brass or bronze finish to compliment glass caming selection. 2

Royal Mahogany Features TRIPLE PANE GLASS Triple-pane insulated glass is more efficient, allows for easier cleaning, and protects the caming from tarnishing. FLOATING PANELS Panels are free to float between fixed ends which reduces the possibility of the panels splitting due to natural wood contractions. ENGINEERED STILES AND RAILS The engineered stiles and rails are stronger than single, solid wood pieces, reducing the possibility of the door warping or splitting. STRONGER JOINTS The mortise and tenon joints between stiles and rails are stronger than dowel joints because the gluing surface is more than doubled. A factory applied finish is available on all oak and mahogany models which result in all the components having the same deep, rich, stained finish. This premium finish is applied in a dust-free, controlled environment, resulting in an incomparable finish. FLOATING PANELS The solid/finger-jointed Mahogany panels are free to "float" between fixed ends which reduces the possibility of the panels splitting due to natural wood contractions. FACTORY-FINISHED All Cavalier doors are custom factory-finished. Doors are stained and highlighted to create that authentic aged look, bringing out the natural characteristics of the Mahogany wood. The doors are then top-coated with a UV-resistant polyurethane. Matching (non-distressed) frame components with pleasing color match are also available. HAND-CRAFTED BLACK IRON Iron clavos, or decorative nails, are optional on all Cavalier designs. An operating speakeasy door with compression bulb weather-stripping is also available.
