INK MIXING SERVICE Recognising that printers still require a high quality and responsive ink mixing service, Shackell Edwards has invested heavily in developing a bespoke in-house ink mixing facility. Where a problem needs to be quickly resolved, the combined experience of our colour matchers is enhanced by a state of the art spectrophotometer. Over 60 years combined experience the Shackell Edwards ink mixing team consists of 3 full time colour matchers with two support staff On average Shackell Edwards produces over 5 tonnes a month of ink mixes ranging from 1kg to 600kg batches We are able to colour match to most recognized colour references (BS381/4800, PMS, RAL) or printed / wet samples for conventional sheet-fed, UV sheetfed and heatset printing requirements In addition to colour matching, we can create specific formulas for improved light-fastness, high strength, or to give fully oxidising properties Our team can offer an industry leading service with a standard free next day delivery capability on all orders received before 1pm.
