LOOSE TUBE CABLES FibrePlus loose tube cables are available in unitube or multi loose tube constructions, in three standard variants. Multi loose tube cables are available as standard in 6 x 4 fibre per tube, 6 x 12 fibre per tube, 8 x 12 fibre per tube, 12 x 12 fibre per tube and 18 x 12 fibre per tubes options, offering up to 216 fibres. The three standard variants are a general duct grade cable; a glass yarn armoured cable and a corrugated steel tape armoured direct burial cable. Loose tube cables are designed for use in building or campus backbone applications and can be installed by blowing, winching or pulling into existing sub ducts or cable conduits. Steel tape armoured products can also be direct buried. Bespoke loose tube cables to client specifications with additional features or modified mechanical performance are available on request subject to MOQ and lead-time. 87
