Forthcoming Meetings SAT 21 st Oct 2017 SAT 18 th Nov 2017 FRI 15 th Dec 2017 SAT 16 th Dec 2017 Pairs Show 3 rd Show in Club Show League (NEW HALL) Young Stock Show (NEW HALL) Free Christmas Hamper Draw & Buffet Night and put up staging (NEW HALL) Open Show (NEW HALL) September 2017 Meeting This was the second Show of our new Dagenham CBS Show League, which was based on 3 phases March was the 1 st Show - Cock Show (cock birds only any species), September was the 2 nd Show - Any Bird Show (cock or hen any species) and October will be the 3 rd show Pairs Bird Show. (Cock & Hen same species). Only one bird in a cage. Entry 50p per cage. Each member can show no more than 6 birds in each Show. These shows are based on points for places, so for example if the total birds in any one show is 30, the first placed bird will get 30 points, second placed bird will get 29 points, third placed bird will get 28 points, down to the last placed bird which would get 1 point. (Above) The Winner of the Any Bird Show was Steve Wallis with a very nice Cock Yellow Hammer collecting a rosette and 20.00.

Again, the sales tables were full of birds for sale, cages, equipment and books, all sold items donated 10% to the club and the committee would like to thank all members who brought items for sale or purchased items. Winner of the first prize in the raffle was new member Fergus McCathy (no relation to Mick) who won 50.00 cash.

Please feel free to introduce other new Members to the Club, we are always looking for active Members. When I say active, I mean Members who come to Meetings and Shows, buy a cup of tea and a raffle ticket and even better, if they can help with any of the Club s duties which will make it easier on the few that currently does (many hands make light work). Next Meeting October 2017 This is the third and final Show of our Dagenham CBS Show League, which was based on 3 phases October is the 3 rd Show Pair s Bird Show. (cock & hen same species) Only one bird in a cage. Entry 50p per cage. All Members points from all the Shows will be added together and our second Dagenham CBS Show League Champion will be announced at this meeting. Prizes for the League Winner - 100 + Cup + Trophy, Second Place - 50 + Trophy, Third Place - 25.00 + Trophy. (Sponsored by Vista Workspace Solutions Ltd.)

Our Judge for this show will be Mark Smithson, a big thank you to Mark for agreeing to help us out. Meetings will be the 3 rd Saturday of every month 10am to 12pm.
