Wireless RF Non-Directional Proximity The SenSource PCW IR Proximity is a battery operated infrared beam reflection sensor with a 418 MHz radio transmitter. The sensor consists of an IR transmitter and an IR receiver. The PCW-DB2 has an integrated 6-digit LCD counter and a radio transmitter for truly wireless installation and operation. The IR Emitter produces a pulsed IR beam capable of sensing up to 6ft. The user can adjust the sensitivity with miniature switches on the side of the unit. The pulsed beam allows the receiver to distinguish the transmitter signal from other light allowing this system to operate in almost any environment without interference from ambient lighting. Optional hardware is required for PC integration (see below). Main Features Easy wireless installation (simply mount and activate) IR beam-proximity sensor with user replaceable batteries 6 digit integral LCD display Battery operated for a truly wireless installation Optional flush-mount wall box kit 6ft. Max. IR sensing distance Up to 600 Ft. radio range Counts beam reflections and total beam reflection duration Very small size: 1 X 2 X 2.5 ABS enclosures Energy managed low power modes for long battery life (details below) Specifications: Parameter MIN TYP MAX UNITS Battery Life 0.5-1 Years IR range 4-7 feet Radio range - 600 - feet Proximity pushbutton to reset time 4-8 seconds Proximity pushbutton to ship mode 8 - - seconds Enclosure 1.3 X2.1 X.6 ABS Plastic PCW-DB2-S (SIDE FIRING proximity sensor with 418 Mhz transmitter) PCW-DB2-F (FRONT FIRING proximity sensor with 418 Mhz transmitter) PCW-SSRX4 ( Server with 418 Mhz receiver) Typical Configuration: Front or Side Firing IR Beam (front firing shown above) Overhead or Side Mount Page 1 of 1
PCW-SSRX4/9 Servers Whatever you re counting or sensing (people, vehicles, temperature, humidity, proximity, doors, etc.) the Server processes and serves data received from up to 100 wireless PCW or XR series sensors equipped with an RF transmitter. Data can be automatically or manually downloaded from one or more local and remote Servers to one central PC. Historical data logs contain information to identify each location and each specific sensor within a location along with date and time stamps. The Server can be programmed, controlled and queried using Server Manager Software or directly by using simple ASCII commands. The Server contains battery backed RAM so data is not lost with power outages. Server and sensor status with current values can be easily viewed in near real time. Your network is secure since wireless communication is only for data exchange between the s and the Server so your network cannot be accessed wirelessly through the Server. Communication with the Server is established via a wired Ethernet TCP/IP or serial RS232 connection. Features: Centralized remote or local reporting 418 or 900 MHz Receiver (12Vdc with included 300mW, 120Vac adapter) Supports all PCW and XR series sensors with RF transmitters Communication via Ethernet (TCP/IP) or RS232 Data Logger creates time stamped history of sensor and event logs Web Server Browser page displays current status and sensor values Monitors up to 100 s 8600 Historical record capacity (approximately 1yr. of data at 1 hour intervals) PCW-SSRX4 ( Server with 418 Mhz receiver) PCW-SSRX9 ( Server with 900 Mhz receiver) Export Data or Generate Reports & Graphs *Server Manager Software (Purchased Separately) Provides centralized reporting, configuration of hardware, downloading data, customized graphing, report generation with the ability to group data based on predefined regions and much more Call SenSource or visit our website for more information.
