Doors and panels can be turned through 180 o as required and fitting is a mirror image of those shown. Extended pentagons and bonded panels are supplied handed and fitting is a mirror image of those shown. 1213127-W2-2

Pass on this guide in the event of change of ownership of the installation site. 3. Follow all warnings, cautions and instructions contained in this guide. 4. Remove all protective tape from the enclosure before installation. GENERL INFORMTION 1. Care should be taken when drilling into walls and floors to avoid any hidden pipes or wires. 2. We strongly recommend that all glass panels are moved by a minimum of two people and that any protective packaging along the glass edges is kept in place for as long as possible to prevent damage before installation. 3. During installation we recommend additional help in lifting heavy doors and side panels. 4. Wear protective footwear when lifting panels. 5. Wear safety glasses when drilling. Wall Preparation The wall channels must be installed onto a tiled or waterproof finished flat and even wall surface. Failure to do so will result in an unsatisfactory seal, which may cause property damage. Note! INSTLLTION SECTION 1 POSITIONING THE WLL CHNNELS DOOR WITH HINGES FITTED TO N INLINE PNEL 20mm 301 331 The dimensions shown will set the door approximately 30mm from the front of the tray, but this can be adjusted if required. WET ROOM FITTING ONLY: Mark equal distance from back wall on both sides. If a seat is being fitted the distance from the back wall to the glass MUST be between 750 & 950mm. IMPORTNT Tray must be level in all planes or enclosure will not install properly. SECTION 1 POSITIONING THE WLL CHNNELS PENTGON ENCLOSURE Wall channel positions are determined using the threshold - lay the threshold on the tray or floor. DO NOT FIX IN PLCE 305 Mark dimension '', the distance from the corner of the threshold to the tiles. Check to see if walls are vertical, adjust '' if necessary within range shown. IMPORTNT Tray must be level in all planes or enclosure will not install properly. WET ROOM FITTING ONLY: Mark dimension '', then measure dimension '' from the inside edge of the threshold to the tiles. 1 Mark the position of both wall channels on the wall: C C C Finally mark the position of the threshold on the tray or floor so that it can be repositioned later. C TRY FITTING ONLY: Measure dimension 'C' from the inside edge of the threshold to the outside edge of the tray. Then mark the distance from the edge of the tray to the inside edge of the wall channel (not including seal) to be as measurement 'C'. WET ROOM FITTING ONLY: Mark the distance from the tiles to the inside edge of the wall channel (not including seal) to be as measurement ''. Proceed to Section 2 2 9 1213127-W2-9

Proceed to Section 2 360 HINGE SIDE 27mm DOOR WITH HINGES FITTED TO THE WLL CLOSING TO N INLINE PNEL IMPORTNT: Hinges can only be mounted on a perfectly vertical and flat wall Place the front edge of the U section wall channel template against the marked line. Note: place the channel so the top fixing hole is further in from the end of the channel than the bottom fixing hole (there is 40mm difference). Mark the hinge fixing holes. CLOSING SIDE 20mm Mark a position 20mm in from the edge of the tray. Mark a position 27mm in from the edge of the tray. WET ROOM: The position of the wall channel is set by the fitter. The U section wall channel template should be 7mm nearer the back wall than the standard wall channel on the closing side. The dimensions shown will set the door approximately 30mm from the front of the tray, but this can be adjusted if required. 27mm DISCRD THE TEMPLTE FTER USE If a seat is being fitted the distance from the back wall to the glass MUST be between 750 & 950mm. 364 27mm SECTION 1 POSITIONING THE WLL CHNNELS DOOR ONLY WITH HINGES FITTED TO THE WLL IMPORTNT: Hinges can only be mounted on a perfectly vertical and flat wall efore fitting the wall channel, mark the fixing position of the hinges on the wall using the wall channel as a template. TRY FITTING ONLY: Mark a vertical plumb line on the wall from the tray to above the position of the top hinge 27mm from the front edge of the tray. HINGE SIDE Place the front edge of the U section wall channel template against the marked line. Note: place the channel so the top fixing hole is further in from the end of the channel than the bottom fixing hole (there is 40mm difference). Mark the hinge fixing holes. IMPORTNT Tray must be level in all planes or enclosure will not install properly. The dimensions shown will set the door approximately 30mm from the front of the tray, but this can be adjusted if required. WET ROOM FITTING ONLY: 27mm The position of the vertical plumb line is set by the fitter. 1 On the closing side, mark the position of the wall channel on the wall. 27mm CLOSING SIDE TRY FITTINGONLY: Mark a line 27mm from the front edge of the tray. WET ROOM FITTING ONLY: Mark a line on the wall equal to the distance from the wall to the vertical plumb line on the hinge side. Proceed to Section 2 11 1213127-W2- CFI365D 1 2

Check to see if walls are vertical, adjust dimensions if necessary within range shown. Place the front edge of the U section wall channel template on the tray or floor and mark the position of the hinge fixing holes. SEE PGE 10 FOR MORE INFORMTION If a seat is being fitted the distance from the wall Proceed to Section 2 to the glass MUST be between 750 & 950mm. ENCLOSURES WITH ONDED PNELS ON OTH SIDES OF THE DOOR 363 If fitting to a tray ensure tray is level in all planes. 1200 1300 1400 1500 1600 DIMENSION Door & Panels 1190 ± 0mm 1290 ± 0mm 1390 ± 0mm 1490 ± 0mm 1590 ± 0mm Mark dimension '', the distance across the outside edges of the wall channels. The distance across the outside faces of the glass will be 14mm less. FOR TRY FITTING ONLY: Dimension '' must be equal on both sides. Proceed to Section 2 12 1213127-W2-12

Note: Glass seal will extend out of wall channel Wall channels MUST be plumb SECTION 2 FITTING THE WLL CHNNELS FITTING STNDRD WLL CHNNEL x3 8mm x3 x3 x3 D Place the outside edge of the wall channel against the mark on the wall. Make the wall channel plumb. Mark the position of the 3 fixing holes on the wall. Remove the wall channel and drill 3 x 8mm holes at the marked points. Fit 3 wall plugs. Screw the wall channel to the wall just enough to hold it in position. Lay a bead of sealant behind the wall channel. Fully tighten screws to fix the wall channel to the wall. Check wall channel is plumb. Use slots to adjust if necessary. Proceed to Section 3 FITTING U SECTION WLL CHNNEL x5 x5 6mm x5 Place the outside edge of the wall channel against the mark on the wall. Make the wall channel plumb. Mark the position of the 5 fixing holes on the wall. x5 E Wall channels MUST be plumb Remove the wall channel and drill 5 x 6mm holes at the marked points. Fit 5 wall plugs. Screw the wall channel to the wall just enough to hold it in position. Lay a bead of sealant behind the the wall channel. Fully tighten screws to fix the wall channel to the wall. Proceed to Section 3 13 1213127-W2-1

SECTION 3 FITTING THE CHNNEL GUIDES DOOR ONLY WITH HINGES FITTED TO N INLINE PNEL Mark guide position(s) by laying the threshold on the tray or floor DO NOT FIX IN PLCE The inside edge of the threshold should be 7mm back from the marks made for the wall channel in Section 1. When fitting to a tray visually check that the threshold is parallel to edge of tray. 301: The end of the threshold at the closing side should be 30mm from the wall. 30mm 7mm = 301 331 331: Measure the width of each inline panel (they may be different widths). Mark the end position of each panel on the tray or floor. Centre the threshold between the marks. = = 7mm = 7mm 1 Drill a hole, for each inline panel 6mm in from the end of the threshold. Drill 3mm for tray fitting. Size of hole for wet room fitting is dependent on floor specification. Installer to supply drill and plugs. REMOVE THE THRESHOLD Screw the channel guide to tray or floor. SECTION 3 FITTING THE CHNNEL GUIDES ENCLOSURE WITH HINGES FITTED TO N INLINE PNEL ND CLOSING TO SIDE PNEL Mark guide positions by laying the threshold on the tray or floor DO NOT FIX IN PLCE 302 Dimensions '' & '' re the measurements from the outside edges of the wall channels to the tiles, as marked in Section 1. Dimensions 'C' & 'D' Mark 'C' from the tiles to the outer edge of the threshold. Dimension 'C' is '' minus 7mm. D Mark 'D' from the tiles to the inside edge of the threshold. Dimension 'D' is '' minus 7mm. When fitting to a tray visually check that threshold is parallel to edge of tray. C 1 REMOVE THE THRESHOLD Screw the channel guides to tray or floor F Drill 3mm holes for tray fitting. Size of holes for wet room fitting is dependent on floor specification. SECTION 3 FITTING THE CHNNEL GUIDES ENCLOSURE WITH HINGES FITTED TO N INLINE PNEL ND CLOSING TO ONDED PNEL Mark first guide position by laying the threshold on the tray or floor DO NOT FIX IN PLCE 332 Dimensions '' & '' are the measurements from the outside edges of the wall channels to the tiles, as marked in Section 1. Dimensions 'C', 'D' & 'E' Mark 'C' from the tiles to the inside edge of the threshold. Dimension 'C' is '' minus 7mm. Mark 'D' from the inside of the wall channel to the edge of the inline panel. Dimension 'D' is the width of the panel. Mark 'E' from the tiles to the edge of the bonded panel. Dimension 'E' is '' minus 7mm, then minus the width of the bonded panel. Place the threshold centrally between 'D' and 'E'. D E = = When fitting to a tray visually check that threshold is parallel to edge of tray. C 1 Mark second guide position. REMOVE THE THRESHOLD Screw the channel guides to tray or floor F minus 40mm minus 13mm 6mm 90 Drill 3mm holes for tray fitting. Size of holes for wet room fitting is dependent on floor specification. SUPPORT THE GLSS PNEL UNTIL THE GLSS CLMP IS FITTED Hinge side has holes Caution NOTE: Coated side of glass goes to the inside. Glass needs to be at least 8mm into wall channel. pprox 180mm If a seat is being fitted, position the glass so the hole in the glass is approximately 180mm from the wall. Ensure the white foam strips are still on the bottom edge of the glass, inside the H section. 8mm Minimum 1 2 Place a blob of sealant at base of wall channel and glass panel. Keep the panel supported at all times. Fit the glass clamp and turn the screw until it lightly grips the glass. SECTION 4 FITTING ONDED PNELS Caution Fit the panel ensuring the bottom channel fits over the channel guide ''. Rest glass against seal of wall channel ''. Glass needs to be at least 8mm into wall channel. Ensure the white foam strips are still on the bottom edge of the glass, inside the H section. 8mm Minimum 1 2 Place a blob of sealant at base of wall channel and glass panel. Redrill the hole(s) and fit the channel guide(s) in the new position. Refit the side panel(s) and check the gap again. SECTION 6 FITTING RCING RS 45 RCING RS Loosen screw '' and remove the fixing block from the bracing bar. Fit the bracing bar fixing block to the wall. 1 2 6 3 Loosen screw '' at the other end the bracing bar. Place the bar on top of the glass and make horizontal, so centre line of bar is level with top of glass. 5 4 8mm 1 C 2 Place the bracing bar on top of the glass at the previous position. Tighten screw '' at the other end to secure the bracing bar to the glass. Tighten screw '' to secure the bracing bar to the fixing block. Fit the cap to the end of the bracing bar. SECTION 6 FITTING RCING RS FITTING 90 RCING R TO SIDE OR ONDED PNEL Loosen screw at the wall end and remove the end of the bracing bar. Deburr the cut end of the bracing bar and refit the section. Ensure the fixings are on top then tighten the screw. Loosen screw '' and remove the fixing block from the bracing bar. X Measure from the glass to the wall ('X') - maximum 1175mm. Measure the bracing bar from the inside edge of the glass cutout. Mark a point Dimension X MINUS 45mm. C Loosen screw 'C' at the other end of the bracing bar. X minus 45mm Place the bracing bar on top of the glass and at 90 o to the panel. Make horizontal. 100mm Cut the bracing bar at the marked point with a fine toothed hacksaw. 1 2 Fit the bracing bar fixing block to the wall. 1 2 Place the bracing bar on top of the glass at the previous position. 100mm 3 Tighten screw '' to secure the bracing bar to the fixing block. 6 8mm 4 Tighten screw 'C' at the other end to secure the bracing bar to the glass. 5 C C Fit the cap to the end of the bracing bar. 0 1213127-W2-3 30 Proceed to Section 7 4

SECTION 7 FITTING THE DOOR FITTING DOOR TO N INLINE PNEL, PENTGON OR ONDED PNEL Fit the seal to the edge of the hinge panel. 301 302 305 Inside Models: 301, 302, 331, 332, 333, 336, 363 331 332 333 Inside Model: 305 336 363 1 Remove the back plates from the hinges. Models: 301, 302, 331, 332, 333, 336, 363 The height and angle of the door is set by eccentric spacers, turn the spacers using a flat screwdriver. The positions shown below are recommended as an initial setting, so the door and hinge are at a slight angle prior to the weight being taken by the hinge. SECTION 7 FITTING THE DOOR Fit the hinges to the panel. The back plate with holes further from the edge fits to the panel. Fold hinge so it is at 90 o. Fit the door to hinge ensuring it is fully supported at all times. NOTE: Coated side of glass goes to the inside. Caution The back plate with holes nearer to the edge fits to the door. The ball catch in the hinge goes to the door side. Note: If necessary, adjust position of door by removing the back plates and rotating eccentric spacers. Replace back plates and tighten all screws as tight as possible. Retighten after 10 minutes. Ensure sealing strip fits behind door Proceed to Section 8 4 FITTING DOOR WITH WLL MOUNTED HINGES Drill 4 x 8mm holes in the wall. 360 364 8mm Fit 4 x wall plugs. 362 362 2 The position for the hinge fixing holes should already be marked on the wall - See Section 1, Page 11. 1213127-W2-32 1

SECTION 7 FITTING THE DOOR Remove the back plates from the hinges. Models: 360, 362, 364 The height and angle of the door is set by eccentric spacers, turn the spacers using a flat screwdriver. The positions shown below are recommended as an initial setting, so the glass is at a slight angle prior to the weight being taken by the hinge. Further adjustment can be achieved by adding spacer gaskets behind the hinge mounting brackets. Important: Ensure the door is fully supported at all times. Note: If necessary, adjust position of door by removing the back plates and rotating eccentric spacers. Replace back plates and tighten all screws as tight as possible. Retighten after 10 minutes. Caution 6 7 Fit the seal to the hinged side of the door, notch at the bottom (use appropriate seal, two are supplied for left or right hand installations). LL UNITS: Move the threshold forwards by 5mm. 1 301, 333 - Place one end against the wall channel. 302 - Place one end to the outer edge of the side panel. 305 - Place in original marked position. 331, 332, 336, 363 - Place equally about the centre line of the door. 360, 362 - Place cut end(s) against the wall. Fit the splashguard to the bottom of the door. 2 5mm Locate the threshold by pulling a small amount of the backing off each end. SECTION 9 FINISHING OFF STNDRD WLL CHNNELS: Cut the seals exposed at top with a sharp knife. STNDRD WLL CHNNELS: Fit the top caps.
